Congratulations, you're getting married! I’m Tom. A happy go lucky wedding photographer offering relaxed and natural wedding photography across South Wales and the rest of the UK. I’d describe my work as relaxed and spontaneous creative documentary photography. On your wedding day, I have one goal. To work behind the scenes to capture your amazing day as it unfolds. I'm always on the lookout for that next genuine moment. Whether it's Mum and Dad shedding a tear during your vows, the bridesmaids sharing some early morning champagne, or your grandad getting groovy on the dancefloor! These are my favourite kinds of images, the kind you can’t plan for but make the best memories. Also, if there are dogs in attendance then I'll be over the moon as I adore them! Of course, there is always time for some family photos as well as natural couple photos later on in the day. What is your most memorable wedding?

I shot a wedding in the small village of Redwick on the outskirts of Newport. I'd done my usual pre-wedding (engagement) session with the bride and groom and knew that something special was about to happen on the big day. The ceremony took place in the local church, after which we headed back to the reception in the bride's mothers front garden! Between the beech trees stood a grand marquee filled with twinkling lights, homemade floral decorations, laughter, and a whole lotta love. I left super late that night as the day had been so enjoyable!

Don't go for the cheapest options and make sure to meet your suppliers.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

It has to be the custom printed waistcoat that a bride gave to her groom. The inside was covered with photographs of their adventures together. It was so colourful and fun, I just loved it.
