One of my most memorable weddings has to be Adriana & Mauro's wedding in Valencia, Spain. I not only work in Kent but I am happy to travel across the world to photograph weddings. Adriana & Mauro's wedding had it all! So many amazing moments to photograph, a wedding filled with so much emotion and when it came to the party in the evening, everyone was up and dancing. It was one of those days where everything came together and I was so happy with the photographs I was capturing. Not to forget I was exploring a new city in Spain! What a wedding!
Natural, relaxed, fun, candid and unobtrusive
I love how I get to build a personal connection with each of my couples. I take pride in getting to know my couples really well and investing time into them so they feel comfortable with me photographing their wedding day.
Make the wedding your own and do whatever you want to do as a couple! Your wedding day is YOUR wedding day. Do and plan whatever makes you happy.
I have seen so many personal touches during my career as a wedding photographer. One of my personal favourites but also a touching details was during a wedding I photographed in Chapel House Estate. Unfortunately the grooms best friend passed away not long before the wedding. As a momento to the friend, the groom and all his groomsmen wore a red sock. This may seem random however, the grooms best friend always wore a red sock for luck.
Firstly I like to get to know my couples through a video call or in person meeting. That way I build a connection with them before the wedding day and they naturally feel more comfortable with me on the day. On the wedding day I am very relaxed and capture lots of candid images. Of course I still include famiyl group photos and we will spend some time getting some portraits of the couple together.
I think this varies depending on the wedding. I capture all the key photos but normally my favourite images from a wedding are those which aren't planned or staged.
This has to be when the groomsmen chucked the groom in the air. The shock and happiness of the grooms face was a picture!
I wish I could snap my fingers and stop the rain but unfortunately I cannot control the weather. We will make the most of any sheltered areas and the inside space of your venue. If your feeling brave we can grab a couple of umbrellas and get out in the rain.
My journey into the world of photography started when I was 15 years old. My mum handed me the camera during a family sailing holiday in Greece and asked me to take a few shots of the scenery . As I put my eye to the viewfinder and composed the frame, a dolphin suddenly jumped out of the water into view. I quickly pressed the shutter release button and captured a very blurry image of the dolphin. Although it wasn’t the best photograph but that moment sparked my interest for photography. I then started to photograph events and parties before falling in love with wedding photography. I haven't looked back since!
