Tom made myself and the bridesmaids feel comfortable from the moment he arrived. His friendly nature and humour made us feel relaxed and created some interesting moments as we were getting ready. Tom listened to my requests and endeavoured to create all the shots I’d asked for with his own creative flair. The pictures from our sneak preview that he had taken with his own vision in mind show he is clearly very talented and he definitely exceeded our expectations. Considering my new husband was adamant we ‘didn’t need a photographer’ because we ‘already have iPhones’, we are both really impressed by the pictures we have seen so far! Joe is usually quite awkward in pictures and one side by side is enough for him but Tom helped us really relax and create some beautiful moments that we would never have thought to do. We can’t thank you enough and can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!

When we first met Tom at Liverpool wedding fair we knew he was the right photographer for us. We wanted a photographer who made everyone feel comfortable behind the camera and who fitted in well with the rest of our guests. Tom did exactly that! From Bridal prep in the morning to our first dance Tom made us feel really relaxed and even made the awkward poses really funny and enjoyable. We have recently received our wedding photos and WOW they are amazing! They capture every essence of our amazing day and are the perfect memories. Tom was really creative with all of the photos and had plenty of ideas as to what would make the best shot, he absolutely knew what he was doing as the photos are fantastic. We would absolutely recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a Wedding photographer to capture their special day!

We met tom at the north west wedding show, both myself and now husband fell in love with him straight away, so easy to talk to, nothing was too much hassle and we just felt we wanted someone like him to be with us on our special day capturing those moments that will last a life time so we can sit back and enjoy them. Come the wedding day, he made us feel so at ease as if we knew him years, he fit right in with the girls getting ready which helped set the mood for the day. He captured those had to be there moments and those money shot tears from my groom which I will cherish forever. One moment that stood him above the rest for me was when I was in my dress and about 10mins from getting married, the typical British weather meant a change in plans last second, this of course changed my mood but tom knew all the right things to say in that moment and changed my mood right back around! He remained professional but kept us laughing all day, he was good with our guests and helped the day run smoothly. The pictures are so well edited and you can see how much work and love he puts into them. If we could give one piece of advise for any newly engaged couple it would be to hire tom benson as your photographer! Thank you tom!

We had the best day of our lives in June and we can’t recommend Tom enough! From the very start when we booked him, Tom was easy to contact and very quickly put us at ease. Tom was an absolute pleasure to share my wedding morning with and I couldn’t ask for someone more professional to be there during such an intimate and personal time. Where do we begin!? From the moment we met Tom at a Wedding Fayre, we knew he was the photographer for our big day! No massive sales pitch or hard sell, he was just so genuine and approachable. We came away feeling like we had just spoken to a friend. During the build up to the wedding, Tom was so professional and supported us to make sure we would have the photographs we wanted from our special day. On the day, Tom went above and beyond and turned into our personal adviser! He helped to make sure we were both in the right place at the right time and he was the go to person for knowing where to be and what to do on the day. Since the wedding day, people have commented on how friendly and approachable he was, that they did not feel like they had a camera in their face all day and felt at ease having their pictures taken. A big plus for us! Now to the photos. Tom, we cannot thank you enough for how well you captured not only our day, but our love for each other. Your enthusiasm, and ability to be in multiple places at the same time are outstanding! I cannot recall you being present for most of the day, as you hid in the shadows waiting for the perfect opportunities. Your constant contact and well wishes since our day have only reaffirmed our wise choice to ask you to capture our wedding. Thank you again, and we would recommend all to have Tom capture their day!

Never met someone so calming and understanding, Tom made our day so very special, couldn’t have asked for a any more, he is a man of his craft, would highly recommend him to anyone!

So so glad I included bridal prep photos as part of our package. From the minute Tom arrived in the morning he blended in (as one of the girls!) 😆 and captured some lovely images I would never have even thought of. He made everyone feel so relaxed and we loved sharing the day with him. Can’t wait to see our final album.
