I'm more than happy to meet you before you book me so that you can get a feel for me and what I offer. If you've decided I'm the one (hooray!), you book me by putting down a 25% deposit and I send you a receipt via email. We meet for a pre wedding consultation around 3 months before the wedding so that I can take note of all the details for the day. I will also ask you to fill in a short form with information on who your wedding party are, I like to know everyone by name. I welcome you to give me a shot list, I will of course take all of the standard group portraits such as the bride with all of her bridesmaids, however sometimes couples have unique needs in wanting a specific picture, such as of the bride and all of her cousins.
24 hours after the wedding you will get a sneak peek of 3-5 images sent digitally. Approximately 3 weeks later you will receive a USB containing your professionally edited images along with a slideshow of the highlights of your day, to the music from your wedding.
One photo where you let all of your excitement show.
I started my photography journey when I was 16. I planned to go to college and study fashion but my course was cancelled due to cut backs! Little did I know how great this would work out for me. It meant I stayed on at 6th form instead to do my A-Levels, my textiles teacher told me that fashion universities also looked for other creative skills on application forms. I can't draw, and I can only just about put together furniture from IKEA, so photography seemed like the best option. I started to enjoy photography much more than I ever thought I would. I still loved fashion, but the decider for me was when I did work experience in a photography studio when I was 17. The owner was so impressed with my attitude and skills that she offered me a permanent job - I was thrilled. I worked there for about a year and a half before I decided to get a degree and follow my own path.
