How far in advance should we book?
Once you’ve secured your venue, it’s best to book your wedding photographer as soon as possible, particularly for popular summer dates. That said, I do occasionally have availability for shorter notice weddings, so it’s always worth getting in touch.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
You won’t be left waiting long. I send a preview of your wedding photos within 24 hours, so you can share a few highlights straight away. Your full gallery is delivered within 5–6 weeks, allowing me to carefully edit each image and present your Ayrshire wedding story beautifully
Will you help us if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
Absolutely. Most couples tell me they feel a little nervous about being photographed, and that’s completely normal. As an experienced wedding photographer, I’ll gently guide you when needed while keeping everything relaxed and natural. You won’t be left wondering what to do I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident, so your photos reflect you at your best.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, 100%. I carry full professional business insurance, including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. I also use a dual-camera setup with full equipment insurance for both cameras and all my lenses, ensuring that your wedding memories are protected no matter what.
What is your backup plan if a camera fails during the wedding?
Peace of mind is a priority for me. I always shoot with two professional-grade cameras on my person at all times. This means if one piece of equipment has a technical glitch, I can switch to the second one instantly without missing a single moment of your ceremony or celebration.
Do you travel for weddings outside of Ayrshire?
Absolutely! I capture weddings and elopements throughout all of Scotland. I don’t charge travel fees for any locations within an hour of Glasgow. For weddings further afield (like the Highlands or the Borders), a small travel fee may apply to cover the journey—just get in touch for a custom quote!
