With over 14 years of experience, Richard’s journey began shooting for P&O cruises worldwide before he found his true passion in wedding photography. He created "This is Richard Wedding Photography" to focus on capturing the unique, beautiful moments that make each wedding special. When he’s not behind the camera, Richard enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, and exploring the Morecambe seaside with his wife and their cocker spaniel. His adventurous spirit means he’s available for weddings across the UK, ready to bring his expert eye and warm approach to your big day.

What is your most memorable wedding?
I was asked to shoot a wedding late 2020, the couples circumstances were very difficult, it was an honour that they picked me for a day that was very emotional, one that will remain with me forever.

What about your business are you most proud of?
My style and branding, I put a lot of energy into everything I do and I'm really proud of where I am at currently.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Having been there and planned my own wedding, just don't compare your day to others, make your wedding what you want it to be.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Ok, so I actually had a giant Scalextric at my own wedding and I'm not sure I'll ever see that at a wedding ever again!
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Every wedding I shoot I always take some time to get one truly key, captivating image of the bride and groom that encapsulates their love for each other.
