Hey folks, a bit about me and my lovely little business of storytelling! I have a passion for travelling, learning, experiencing new things and meeting new people.
In 2006 I graduated with a fine arts degree as a multi-disciplinary artist. I’ve always been fascinated by peoples stories as much as I’ve been enthralled by natural landscapes and light so becoming a portrait photographer seemed to happen organically.
I am a self taught photographer, my Grandad passed on his analogue cameras to me in my late teens and during my studies I learnt how to develop my own negatives and photographs in the dark room. I picked up a camera again after a few years and moved to digital, I began taking self portraits and photographing my children and in 2015 I took the plunge and started my first photography business photographing families. In 2016 my friend asked me to photograph her intimate wedding ceremony in the Lake District which was an incredibly moving experience for me so I set up as a Wedding Photographer in 2017 and I am honoured to have witnessed, captured and been so absolutely moved by some incredibly emotional moments since.
