What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding has its own unique, memorable moments. However, we have photographed and filmed weddings at St Paul's Cathedral, which has always been extra special!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative. Patient. Innovative. Observant. Fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
100% attention to detail... for every wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Two days before your wedding day delegate any remaining to-do's to your inner circle (they won't let you down!) then enjoy the final build-up... and on your wedding day relax and have the best day ever!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I think personal touches embody romance - and in all honesty there have been far too many at all the weddings I've photographed to single-out one in particular.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We think it's really important that we complement a couple's requirements for their wedding day. So throughout the process we listen carefully to a couple's plans and offer suggestions and advice where appropriate. We believe that careful planning, well in advance where possible, is the best way to prepare. All said, because we have photographed and filmed well over 1,00 weddings, we also have the experience to successfully manage the process for shorter-notice bookings.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
After the wedding ceremony has ended and as the newly married couple exit the church or venue, the look of sheer joy at 'that' moment makes for an unforgettable photograph.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
On rare occasions we have had the privilege to photograph five generations of one family... the bride's daughter, the bride, the bride's mother, the bride's grandmother and the bride's great grandmother.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Keep smiling... whatever the weather!
Describe how you got into photography.
My love of photography (and film making) goes back to when I was at school and college. Since then it has been central to my career. For me, the great thing about photography is that it's gives the photographer the opportunity to capture a unique moment in time, that can be enjoyed and appreciated forever.
