What is your most memorable wedding?
They are all special and unique in their own way and each provide amazing memories!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The couples that I meet! Spending time with them on this amazing journey is a real honour and then be a part of their most intimate moment of saying "I do" is incredibly special and I just feel so insanely proud!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy the moment because it will pass you by! Even if you feel a little under pressure, that is the time the pair of you should come together with a glass of wine or share a box of chocolates with one another, and just remember that the day you are creating is all about YOU and no one else. That moment will make you smile!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The brother of the bride arranged for a tree print to be created but all the leaves were added on the day by guests using thumb prints and then adding their own personal written messages to the happy couple. I thought that was lovely!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Fun, friendly and relaxed! I am here to help as much as I possibly can and so with me, you will always have a friendly response. I go through the kind of coverage you would like, as well as highlight the packages you could have; all of which can be tailored to you to make your experience even more personal. You will have a contract with me so you are safe in the knowledge you have got someone looking out for you, as well as have any number of consultations you may wish to have before your big day! Before deciding on your photographer, I always encourage couples to chat / meet with me first, and any other photographers they are looking at, as not only is it important for you to like their work, but you must get on with them and feel relaxed with them too.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I love a confetti shot!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
You can't beat snuggling under a clear brolly with your new husband or wife! It is such a gorgeous moment. Not a fan of the rain? Don't worry, it is amazing what you can do indoors! And remember, a spot of rain of your wedding day brings you luck in our marriage.
Describe how you got into photography.
Right from an early age I was into my photography and was fortunate enough to specialise in it for my Fine Art degree when I went to Uni. I did a lot of work in the darkroom then and it was the best feeling!
