The Boudoir Edit

I cannot recommend such a friendly comfortable and supportive company enough! I had a bridal boudoir photoshoot as a wedding gift for my husband to be early last year and it was one of the most exciting yet scary things I'd done, theres a huge sense of anxiety when looking for the right photographer for something like this and I'd had such a hunt around that when I found ESB it was so refreshing. Not so dark and cringy but light feminine and just beautiful. From initially getting in touch to taking the photos on the day the whole team including hair and make up were encouraging but not pushy and completely brought to life just what I had in mind. I'm so grateful for the confidence they have given me and genuinely hope more brides choose ESB for their photoshoot xx

I had THE MOST amazing shoot with Ellie Sanderson Boudoir Photography. David the photographer and Katie, my hair and make up artist really put me at ease as we discussed the look and feel of the photos that I wanted. Having already shared a Pinterest board with David, we narrowed down our favourites and then it was time to be beautified! Katie worked her magic and made me feel fabulous, all with a glass of fizz in hand too! Finally, it was time to take those all important photos. David is super professional behind the camera and knows what will and what won't work and Katie is simply hilarious and super relaxing to have around whilst you prance about in your knickers! All in all, if you are thinking about it, just go for it. I left feeling a million dollars and just fabulous - exactly how you want to feel right before your wedding. I know my husband to be is going to LOVE the pictures as much as I do!

I had such a great time doing the boudoir shoot and the whole experience is such fun. David and his team are great at making you feel at ease. I was so happy with how the photos turned out.

I can't thank the team at Ellie Sanderson Boudoir enough for giving me the courage to do the boudoir photography - it has been such an exhilarating experience - and I have no regrets whatsoever. Both David (the amazing photographer) and Katie (wonderful hair and make up) made me feel and look so good - I felt truly liberated! The whole experience was truly amazing! I was very nervous and almost dreading it before I arrived! As soon as I got there and we sat down and chatted I became much more relaxed. The boutique is lovely and I was made to feel very welcome. It oozes class and sophistication which is exactly what you want for a boudoir shoot. David made me feel so comfortable during the shoot and it went so quickly! He was very professional and along with the make up artist and his assistant it was a perfect little team to make you feel at ease! I enjoyed the day so much that I would like to do it again!! If you are thinking of doing it, even if you think you could never do it....do it!!! It will be a really empowering experience and I promise you'll love it!

I wasn’t sure if I was brave enough to do a boudoir shoot but after meeting David and speaking to Ellie I thought I would give it a go! The whole process from start to finish in creating the Pinterest board and chatting ideas through with David and Katie was so professional and really helps you relax into it. David is very patient for those who are a little camera shy and really gives good advice on poses and what works well with the camera. I took some slightly different props along like a hat, a work jacket and a cashmere jumper and had some real fun with those creating some quite different boudoir style shots as well as the more traditional underwear shots. The whole experience really built my confidence and I have some amazing pictures from it that I am really proud of. My husband is quite a traditionalist and I had a bit of a panic the morning of our wedding when it was delivered to him as I was not sure what he would make of it. All I can say is he was a little shocked, mostly cause he never thought I had it in me, but he was overwhelmingly blown away by it and thought it was the most amazing gift that I would do something like that for him. I think it was nearly the best part of the wedding for him!! You could see it in his face when I met him at the ceremony, this look of happy confusion – my beautiful bride and sexy wife! My advice: don’t doubt it, do it! You will not regret it and with David you will only ever end up with the most amazing photographs.
