What is your most memorable wedding?
It's hard to pick just one wedding, I have special memories of so many weddings.. Weddings for which I had to travel abroad, weddings in remote fairytale villages, weddings of amazing beautiful, kind and so generous people that really inspired me to see things differently.. But my favorite moment of all the weddings so far is the moment right before the Ceremony starts, and I usually spend those few minutes or seconds with the grooms or brides. I look in their eyes and that emotion that I see is one of the most beautiful and precious thing that I adore capturing in my images.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, Emotional, Timeless, Special, Artistic
What about your business are you most proud of?
My business isn't special, but I hope that some of my images are special for my special couples. And that thought makes me happy, and a little bit proud sometimes.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Talking about Wedding Photography, the couples don't have to do much planning. It's great if they can spend some time talking to me about it, but so many times they just need a bit of guidance and maybe they need to think about what's important to them when it comes to Wedding Photography. As for the Wedding Day, I'd love to know that people remember to look. To see. To feel. To experience the best way they can, and with Love, one of the most amazing days. After that, I hope that my images will help them to relive all that beauty.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Love is the most personal touch I've seen at weddings. Love can be different from one couple to another, but whenever I see it I know that that's amazing.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We talk about ourselves first of all, and we see if I am the right person to be as their Photographer. Then we talk about Photography and about the Wedding Day. There are a couple of Consultation Forms and a Contract I send from the moment they decide to book me until before the Wedding Day. The process isn't too complex.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Number 1 image is a "few images". There are no rules, some of my favorite images I took in the morning when people were getting ready, other times, photos of couples and the things that happened later in the evening. But still, one of my favourite image is the one right before the Ceremony starts.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Ha! Someone asked me to take a photo of myself at a wedding, that made me smile! All the photos are "original", I don't copy-paste the style or the ideas from one Wedding to another, I do my best to look for what makes that day special and different, and those moments when I capture are all amazingly original.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
People react differently when it comes to rain. Sometimes people don't want to get wet and do anything that it takes to stay dry, other times people enjoy it and embrace it I guess. I say.. don't get upset if it rains, rain looks great in photos!
Describe how you got into photography.
I used to be a TV Reporter before being a Photographer. I enjoyed being a Journalist, but I think I like more seeing my images tell a story, rather than me talking about them.
