What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't go into debt planning your wedding, you don't want to start your new lives in debt. If you must, reprioritize your expectations according to your pocket. With that said, remember its your day and all about you, so please have fun planning the day and be sure to seek help or ask questions if you have any.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, I capture candid, intimate and natural moments between the two of you and your guests. I also adapt to the moment, with your satisfaction as my ultimate goal.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Personal portraits. I believe this is important as it is what you'll mostly remember your wedding by and likely hang on the wall of your home.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
If it rains, why not consider taking beautiful pictures in the rain? Rain shots can be absolutely spectacular! That said, an umbrella is always handy if you don't want to get soaked
Describe how you got into photography.
My love for photography goes back as far as my childhood. I was absolutely fascinated by the process of converting films to negatives and prints and soon found myself becoming ‘that person’ – you know, the designated photographer for family and friends. With raw passion and curiosity, I quickly deepened my love for digital photography, teaching myself everything I know and practising at every given opportunity. Voila! Suddenly, I was being offered cash by family, friends, and strangers to cover their events. Passion birthed business and like they say, everything else is now history.
