Timeless, romantic, natural, warm, elegant
I’m most proud of serving couples with joy and giving them timeless memories!
Focus on what makes your day yours. Don’t get lost in trends or expectations, and prioritise the moments, like your vows or time with loved ones. The time will fly by, so treasure every moment!
My favorite personal touch was at a coastal wedding where the couple set up a little wooden box by the harbour. Inside were handwritten notes from their first date, tied with string. They read them out before the ceremony, it turned a quiet moment into something I've never forgotten.
My process starts with a chat over tea, virtual or in-person to hear their story and vision. I guide them with a timeline to keep things smooth, from engagement session to wedding day. On the day, I’m there capturing every moment while keeping it fun and relaxed. After, I edit with care, delivering a gallery of timeless, heartfelt photos to an online gallery for them to enjoy with their family and friends.
The first look (which is becoming more popular) or a quiet moment alone right after the ceremony. It captures raw emotion and their love in a way nothing else does. I’d say it’s the heartbeat of the day.
The most original photo I’ve been asked to take was a groom surprising his bride with a canoe ride on a lake at sunset. They wanted it mid-row, with her laughing and him paddling.
For a rainy day wedding, I recommend embracing it. Grab clear umbrellas, find a covered porch or big window for soft light, and lean into cozy indoor shots. Rain adds magic and I love to work with it!
It all started as a hobby when my daughter was born. I wanted to capture her first moments. Over time, it grew into something more when I realised I could create beautiful memories for people. I decided to become a photographer because I was inspired by the desire to capture beauty and emotions, especially at weddings.
