What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding session was my very first one, back in 2007. It was on the 15th of February and the day after the wedding. Bride and Groom where determined to have theirs photos taken despite freezing cold and tiredness of their big day. I barely could feel my feet from the snow but wouldn't dare to complain in front of Eva, the Bride, who was bravely wearing her open toe stilettos. We had such a great fun coming up with photo ideas, Eva even got to change a tyre!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, natural, fresh, modern, contemporary
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember to find time to enjoy yourself on your wedding day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when the couple asks for a photo with their pet. Pets are our family members but are rarely present on this very special day. If I can accommodate a shot of a couple with their dog or a dragon, I'm always happy to do it.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A bride changing flat tyre whilst her groom stands nearby watching.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the rain. Rain surely makes it difficult to enjoy wonderful outdoors, but should never stop you from enjoying the day. I love experimenting with creative use of flash and backlit photos in the rain can bring you a stunning portrait.
