Steve was the most incredible photographer we could have asked for. Before we got married we had attended a few weddings which felt more like a photo shoot than a wedding itself and we could not believe the time people gave up in their day to set up long, staged photos of their big day rather than enjoying the day itself with their guests! So when we got engaged we were certain we did not want this - we wanted 'straightforward, no fuss wedding photography'. And true to what Steve claims on his website - this is what he delivered. As a couple who are not naturally drawn to being the centre of attention or taking lots of photos, we were a bit worried about the photos. Steve encouraged us to have a pre-wedding photo shoot to get used to the awkwardness before the big day and also plan out where we want our photos taken. Spending time with Steve doing this was like being with a friend we had known for ages - he put us at ease and really took the time to listen to what we wanted and how we were planning our big day. On the day, Steve stuck to exactly what he said. All of our friends and family commented on how lovely he was and how easy it was having him around throughout the day (some of them hoping to use Steve for their weddings as well one day, if he'll venture into England!). We took the photos we wanted, when we wanted and yet Steve also used his professional judgement to make these photos work so well (despite the Welsh-weather not making this easy). Our day was not 'traditional;' but this did not phase Steve one bit and he was on board with all of our requests - including the 40 minute walk through forestry with all our guests, driving up a hill in a land rover, capturing a surprise twist in our speech and staying until late into the night to get some snap shots of the dance floor. When the photos arrived a month or so after the wedding we were absolutely blown away. We looked through the 700 photos so many times and every time noticed another moment he had managed to capture. We kept saying 'I didn't even know Steve was there taking that photo'. And that was the beauty - we have some incredible photos to remember our incredible day and these photos never took away from us enjoying it. We cannot recommend Steve enough as your wedding photographer - do it, you will definitely not regret it!

We can not recommend Steven enough... what a talent! From our first meeting to discuss the wedding we were confident that Steven understood exactly what we wanted. The engagement shoot was a great opportunity to get a feel for how things might work on the day and we were instantly put at ease. My family has known Steven a long time so it was extra special to have him as our photographer and thankfully he wasn't remotely fazed by the chaos of my large family getting ready on the morning of the wedding. In fact, he got some amazing candid photos which really captured those moments beautifully. We couldn't be happier with our photos, each one has clearly been so well thought out with amazing attention to detail and artistic flare.

We would reccomend Steven again and again. His work is perfection and he captures every little detail so you can relive your big day all over again. He went above and beyond and honestly couldn't have done enough for us. He made us feel totally at ease on our engagement shoot and on our big day. Even if he did get a bit of an eyefull 😂 We never even noticed him there he captures every moment worth capturing. Thank you so much Steve. If you're thinking of having Steven do your wedding photography don't hesitate just book him and you won't regret it. They say you get what you pay for but we got way more than that. If I could give more than 5 stars I so would!

Steve was really great to deal with from our first meeting, the engagement shoot and the wedding day itself. He really got to grips with what it was we wanted from him, and he soon put us at ease in front of the camera. The Wedding day itself was a very long day for Steve but he had a smile on his face the whole day. Nothing was any trouble for him and the results are fantastic. We have recently had our wedding photos back from Steve and we couldn't be happier. We love Steve's style and how he captures people in the moment. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for a photographer for any occasion. Many people commented on how well Steve blended in with the guests and how great he was throughout the day. Steve recently did our wedding photography and he was amazing. Our day had a few hiccups but Steve wasn't fazed at all. Steve was easy-going yet professional and unobtrusive, in fact I hardly noticed he was there at all (in the best possible way!) We were running behind (oops!) so he suggested that we skip traditional portrait style photos to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. We then had random, impromptu photos at he reception venue which Steve managed to catch at the right time, each time. He was so accommodating and put up with us not being very photogenic (at one point, he even acted as a taxi from the hairdresser when we were stuck!) Steve also worked so well with our videographer: it was lovely to see. He captured the essence of us and our day perfectly and we wouldn't have had anyone else. Additionally, the presentation box that arrived in the post was beautiful. Thanks for everything Steve, you were awesome!

Steve captured our day perfectly. We were apprehensive about having lots of posed photos but Steve got the perfect balance! Our day was quite different from traditional weddings but Steve just fitted in - most people said they hardly saw him but somehow he managed to capture it all brilliantly with lots of lovely little moments. He was so helpful and helped us to think through where and what photos would be best and he wasn't afraid to get his wellies on and trudge through the fields with us! We would highly recommend Steve and want to thank you Steve for giving us such wonderful memories to look at.

Words don't really say what I feel but I just had to thank you SO much for the photos you took for Jessica & Ricci's wedding recently. Jessica couldn't wait to view them when she collected them from ours so we were lucky enough to see them first hand. They are stunning! After we had viewed them all I actually said to Ricci that I felt I had relived the entire day. You captured so many looks and special moments - I've never seen such natural, un- staged wedding photos in my life! You have a very rare gift ... DEFINATELY your vocation .... And a special thank you for your kind words about feeling welcomed. We are what we are, we never try to be anything else, we merely treat people as we find them- and you were a pleasure to have share (and make) Jessica and Ricci's wedding with us!

We had Steve do our wedding photography back in June and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made! From the initial meeting with Steve he made us feel sure we had chosen the right photographer for what we wanted. He did us a beautiful engagement shoot at Powis castle where we both work, which allowed me and my partner to get used to Steve and also allow us to get used to the camera!! The photography done on our wedding day was exactly what we wanted, with Steve capturing shots that weren't posed for and showed real emotions of us and our guests. Even though we had a minor issue with the weather it soon brightened up and Steve was able to capture some beautiful shots of us out in the grounds at our reception venue. Most of the time you don't realise he is there (except for a rustle in the bushes which many guests found highly amusing) which allows him to capture the shots that he does! It was so nice to not have someone in your face constantly !! Would and will recommend Steve to any couple getting married. We both hope we will have the chance to meet with Steve again in the future
