Ste photographed my wedding in November at Fulham Palace in London, and was also kind enough to throw in a free engagement shoot in London in September. What had consistently caught my eye about his photos during my photographer research process was his highly emotional captures (so many laughs and excited faces), very creative use of lighting and angles (e.g. creating beautiful human silhouette shots against epic landscapes, and an eye for finding beautiful pops of colour in the background you wouldn't normally notice) and natural but crisp colour grading (basically as you would actually remember things happening in real life but more vivid, rather than an over-stylised colour filter). These traits were absolutely reflected in our final photos, which captured an array of truly beautiful, entertaining and most importantly, real moments from across the day that we still love looking through three months on. We received many guest comments along the lines of "you must be so pleased with how these turned out", "wow he really managed to capture everyone's individual traits and personalities" and "how did he manage to get me smiling in EVERY photo?". So many guests also commented - and we wholeheartedly agree - that aside from the quality of Ste's photos he was just a really great person to have around on the day - personable, calming and professional, which in turn led to everyone looking very relaxed and happy around the camera for some great shots. Additionally, when he came to give us a congratulatory hug after signing the registers and chat about the aspects he enjoyed about our day, it really felt genuine and personal. In terms of customer service, Ste was also so patient with us in the run up preparations when we were bombarding him with questions and indecisiveness about when and where to have our engagement shoot (as we were working with some rather restrictive work schedules). During the morning preparations I also showed him a very hastily drawn up (but quite specific) list of shot requests for specific moments/backdrops etc I wanted captured during the day, in the vague hopes he might be able to accommodate one or two of them. He was more than happy to take this list on board with about 5 minutes warning and miraculously managed to remember and execute most of these, including capturing my husband pulling many secret silly faces behind my back, which still make me laugh so much. It was an absolute delight to work with Ste and we are so pleased we found him amidst the seemingly thousands of options in this line of work. 10/10 would recommend!

Ste is a fantastic photographer! His pictures are stunning and capture everything you could wish for on the day. We've so many 'favourites' from throughout the day, and all our family and friends love them too! He is also a genuinely great guy who has a clear passion for what he does, and we felt incredibly comfortable with him. We feel lucky that we found him, and cannot recommend him enough!

Ste brought our wedding to life in ways which we couldn't have ever envisaged. We chose Ste because of his philosophy to 'shoot weddings from the inside out'; being close to the action, capturing all of the love and fun. Stephen went above and beyond for our photos. He has such a flair for getting the right photos but also letting us enjoy our day. Professional from start to finish. Our photos are very personal in their presentation yet with a modern flair of experimenting with lighting and different angles and effects. I can’t recommend Stephen enough. Stephen Walker, what an amazing photographer! From the very first moment we saw his work on his website and Instagram page we knew he was the exact person we wanted to help capture our special day. After having a chat with Ste and meeting up at our wedding venue for a pre-wedding photoshoot, he helped us plan everything out and suggested ways to help make our day go smoothly. We are not usually a couple who are used to having their photo taken so it was a bit daunting having the spotlight on us. Ste had suggested the pre-wedding photoshoot and it completely changed the way we felt and loved it! He provided us with invaluable pointers, also due to his free-flowing natural photography we felt so relaxed and even forgot the camera was there. It just felt like we were having an afternoon out with one of our friends. We received the photos shortly after the shoot and were amazed by the results. We really could not wait for the big day! As for our wedding day, Ste again was exceptional. We are both so grateful for him capturing the amazing photographs and all the little pre-wedding tips from Ste fell into place and the day went completely smoothly. Ste captured EVERY single emotion that day. When we look through the photos from our wedding we get to re-live the whole day. From the getting ready bit, both bride and groom, to walking down the aisle, laughing and crying during speeches, chatting with our loved ones and dancing the night away. It felt like Ste was part the family on our wedding day. He bonded with the whole party and created such beautiful images that we all love. His attention to detail is impeccable and his creativity is genius! It felt like Ste had a genuine interest in us as a couple and forming a relationship with the both of us. We felt so at ease with him and it felt natural having him around. He listened to everything that we asked for and planned our day to perfection. We were so lucky to have a lovely sunny day on our wedding day. Ste timed everything though so we had the correct lighting which then created such beautiful photographs. We are both truly grateful for the wonderful work that Stephen Walker produced from the pre-wedding shoot, all the way through to the final details of our finished photographs of our special day. We cannot thank Ste enough for the moments that he captured and his work being absolutely brilliant. What a truly talented photographer who brings a warm, friendly approach to his work and creates absolute perfection. The day will stay with us forever and having Ste Walker as our photographer was one of the best decisions in all of our planning for our special day. We met Ste initally through winning his facebook competition for an engagement photoshoot. He was really easy to get along with and work with, he made us feel at ease even though we were really nervous. We loved his style of pictures, and the way he captures little moments without asking you to do any specific poses. Our wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful, all of our guests have praised the quality of the pictures. All of the pictures feel very natural and half of the time i didn't even know he was there taking pictures! his unique approach to photography really captured the memories we wanted! From the first time I saw Ste’s work I knew he’d be the guy for us - we loved the emotion and natural moments he was able to capture from all of his weddings. We first met Ste 18 months before our wedding and felt instantly at ease, he spoke about how he understands that it can be awkward to have your photo taken and as such tries to be as quick and discreet as possible… sold! Fast forward 17 months and we met again for our pre-wed shoot. Ste did a great job at putting us at ease when he was taking our photos and within no time we’d forgotten about the camera and were just having a good time. The photos he captured here were amazing and made us so excited for our wedding. When it came to the wedding Ste fitted in like one of our guests and it was a pleasure to have him there. We had so many comments from guests about how good Ste was at being in the right place at the right time and how excited they were to see the photos as ‘they could tell they will be good.’ We received our photos earlier this week (around 6 weeks after the wedding) and made a night of it to go through them – I actually would recommend doing this to all future couples. Ste did the most amazing job of capturing our day! We laughed and cried our way through the photos as if we were reliving the day again! I couldn’t recommend Ste enough to anyone – if you’re considering booking, just do it. It’ll be the best decision you make for your wedding. Ste… thank you, thank you, thank you! We absolutely love all of our photos and will enjoy reliving our day over and over through them.
