Steph Barry is an award-winning wedding photographer based in Swansea, capturing love stories since 2009. She has experience with a wide range of celebrations—from intimate cliff-top ceremonies to lively garden parties. As a solo mum to three boys and a dog mum to a playful golden retriever, Steph understands the beauty in real, joyful, and sometimes chaotic moments. This perspective shines through in every wedding she photographs, ensuring your story is told with warmth and authenticity.
Yes - you’ll receive all of the deliverable images from your day, fully edited in my signature style. I carefully go through every photo, removing only duplicates or any with closed eyes or unflattering expressions. Everything else is included, and there’s no limit on the number of images you’ll receive.
It’s not mandatory, but for full-day weddings a hot meal is always greatly appreciated — it helps me stay energised and ready to capture every moment without needing to leave the venue. If a meal isn’t provided, that’s absolutely fine, but I may need to step out during your wedding breakfast to grab some food, which means I’ll be off-site for the duration of your meal. If you have anything planned between courses such as singing waiters or speeches this would mean I won't be around to capture them. If you would like to provide a meal for me, please ask your venue for a supplier meal (don't include suppliers in the guest headcount and pay for a full place!)
For part day weddings, a meal is not necessary at all.
I take a deposit of £250 at the time of booking, and the final balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day. Payment can be made by card or bank transfer
Not at all — meetings are completely optional. I’m more than happy to arrange an in-person chat in Swansea if you’d like, but we can just as easily cover everything by email or phone if that’s easier for you. Most couples find my pre-wedding email and questionnaire give them all the information they need, so if the run-up to your day is feeling a bit hectic, please don’t worry — you won’t miss out on anything important.
I recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date, especially for popular wedding months. Many couples book 12–18 months in advance, but I’m always happy to chat with you if your wedding is sooner - we’ll do our best to make it work! Once your date is secured with a deposit and contract, you can relax knowing it’s all booked and ready to go.
To secure your wedding date, we’ll ask for a completed booking form, signed contract and a deposit. You can get a copy of these by asking me and I'll send you a link.
Once these are received through our online system, your date is officially reserved, giving you peace of mind that everything is locked in. From there, we can start planning all the details to make your day perfect!
In the unlikely event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding due to illness, I have a trusted network of professional photographers I can call on to cover your day. You’ll still receive the same style and quality of images you booked, so you can relax knowing your memories are in safe hands.
I will provide you with a sneak peek within a few days of your wedding, and the full gallery will be delivered to you within 6-8 weeks
Absolutely! I use 2 cameras as standard and always have 2 more packed ready, just incase anything should happen. I also carry a wide range of lenses, lighting, batteries and memory cards so there's always a back up
I am fully insured with £5m liability. Many venues will request this off you so a copy of my certificate is available for you at any point
