SMD Wedding Photography

We booked Mitch for our wedding photography and he was great! He was easy to contact and really calm on the wedding day. We took so many photos and his presence was greatly appreciated and it helped the day flow faultlessly. Would highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most amazing wedding photographer – we couldn’t recommend Mitch enough! I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Mitch. From the moment we met him at a bridal event right through to our wedding day, he was absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer, not only for the stunning photographs he captured, but for the incredible person he was throughout the whole day. Having never been married before, there were naturally times when I felt a little clueless about what I needed to do, but Mitch helped everything run so smoothly without ever being overbearing. You sometimes hear stories about photographers dictating every moment of the day, but Mitch was the complete opposite. He guided us when needed, made us feel comfortable and allowed us to enjoy our day exactly as we wanted to. Our wedding fell on the hottest day of the year, with temperatures reaching 35°C, and with everyone dressed in suits and wedding attire, it was absolutely scorching! Mitch went above and beyond to make sure we were all okay, ensuring that my husband and I had plenty of water during our photographs and making sure everyone took regular breaks to cope with the heat. His care and consideration did not go unnoticed. He even helped me get into my wedding dress when my mum’s hands were shaking so much with nerves and emotion that she was struggling. That just sums Mitch up perfectly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. My dad is also a wheelchair user, and Mitch was incredibly thoughtful in making sure he was comfortable, in the right places for our photographs and included throughout the day. Those little things meant so much to us as a family. And then there are the photographs themselves… absolutely breathtaking! Mitch has captured the love, happiness and emotion of our wedding day so beautifully. Looking through them brings all those feelings flooding back, and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives. What made Mitch even more special was that he never felt like just another supplier. He genuinely became part of our day, almost like another guest. He was so warm, friendly and welcoming to everyone, and he fitted into our wedding so naturally that it felt like he had been part of our celebrations all along. Mitch, thank you for everything you did for us. You went above and beyond in ways that we will never forget, and we are so grateful that we chose you to capture one of the most important days of our lives. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is talented, kind, caring, accommodating and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, look no further than Mitch. We first met Mitch at the wedding show 2 and a half years before our big day. What struck us was how warm and approachable he was and it sealed it for us when booking him for our big day. He was very professional and warm and it just felt like it was a friend photographing our wedding rather than a supplier. He instantly put us at ease as we can be awkward when taking photos together. A great mixture of posed and candid shots was taken. We have just received our photos back and we are struggling to pick a favourite to put on our wall. Overall we would recommend!

Im so glad that we chose SMD wedding photography, we have 2 neurodivergent children and one of are biggest thing was we wanted the kids to feel comfortable and OMG they did above and beyond, to make them feel comfortable. We can not thank Sarah & Mitch enough for decorating our venue which they made stunning ! Having Mitch to take our photographs was the best decision we could of made. He went above and beyond to make everyone feel relaxed and nobody felt uncomfortable. He kept us both chilled especially when we had a little hiccup ! He assisted us with everything and all our guest commented on what a great guy he was. Our photos from the wedding and photobooth are all beautiful, just what we wanted, they have captured our day in our way ! Mitch was just the best from start to finish! I never quite realised how much support a photographer gave at a wedding until it was my own. Mitch was kind, funny and professional, and his attention to detail was spot on! Wow, honestly, I don’t even know where to begin! Mitch was hands down the best photographer anyone could ask for. We had so many compliments from our guests about how amazing he was. He arrived an hour early and spent time walking around the venue, looking for the perfect photo spots before we even got started. He had so many brilliant ideas and wasn’t afraid to let you know if you needed to readjust to get the perfect shot. He has such an amazing eye for detail and made both us and our guests feel completely calm and at ease throughout the whole day. Mitch has such a great personality and charisma. No matter who he spoke to, from the little ones to the grandparents, he had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. He even brought a drone for our group shots, which was such a lovely touch, as well as a photobooth that both us and our guests absolutely loved! What we loved most is that Mitch doesn’t just cater to one particular style. He takes the time to talk to you, get to know you and understand what you want, and somehow manages to give you everything you could want and more! We would 1000% recommend Mitch to anyone getting married, or even anyone wanting a beautiful photoshoot. He also offers pre-wedding shoots, which unfortunately we missed out on, but he has been kind enough to invite us to come up next summer, which we are so excited about! Mitch was so relaxing from the start, we are a couple who hates posing for photos and generally being in the spotlight but Mitch made it so easy for us. He was extremely helpful on the day knowing where to go, what to do (even at a venue he hadnt been to before) helping to get the men suited and booted. One of the grooms men thought he was part of the organisers. Our photos have been beautiful and we've been so proud to show them off.

Mitch is hands down one of the nicest and caring people we have ever met. Mitch couldn’t have been more amazing if he had tried. We received a large amount of photos which are all perfect. Mitch truly is talented and we now class him as the “family photographer” we chose Mitch to do our Wedding and Newborn photos and there’s a reason why!! Could not recommend more!!!
