100% recommend! SKL Photography are perfect if you’re looking for a mix of photo styles, which we were! Simon being the group/‘posed’ photographer, and Rebecca capturing all the natural/candid moments. We knew we wanted this style and as soon as we met Simon at a Wedding Fayre, seeing the display of work, chatting about his experience and seeing his passion for photography we instantly knew we had to book them for our Wedding Day! From then on the contact was seamless and replies were always prompt, it made the planning phase so much easier. Closer to the day we had zoom calls to discuss the timeline and different aspects of the day so everyone knew what was happening and when. They also had no problem with us meeting in person to look through album choices for the package we had chosen. You just know from their personalities that they would add to the enjoyment of the day, and for 2 very camera-shy people they definitely made us both feel at ease! They had everyone laughing with their jokes and our family/friends still bring up the moment Simon decided to lay down on the grass to get that perfect shot 😂 They really did add to the enjoyment of the day! We received some preview photos the next day and our private gallery with all the photos was available 8 weeks later which we could send to all of our guests too. As mentioned earlier their mix of styles allows for a variety of photos/moments to be captured. We received over 1500 photos (in colour AND black/white) - it definitely made choosing our album photos difficult, but if anything that is testament to the quality of their work, we can’t wait for the album to be delivered! From start to finish, Simon from SKL Photography was nothing short of exceptional. His professionalism shone through at every stage — from the initial communication and planning, right through to the wedding day itself and even afterwards. On the day, Simon truly was the glue that held everything together. He kept the whole day perfectly choreographed and running smoothly, all while remaining calm, friendly, and incredibly organized. Our wedding took place during a severe storm, but even with the challenging weather, Simon came through with absolutely stunning shots. He managed to capture the most beautiful moments, including some incredible outdoor photos during the brief windows of little or no rain. Watching Simon work under those conditions — keeping our guests comfortable and everything on track — was nothing short of remarkable. He was amazing with all of our guests and especially wonderful with our children — showing endless patience and understanding, particularly with our children who are autistic. His kind and thoughtful approach made everyone feel completely at ease, which really shows in the beautiful, natural photos he captured. It took us quite a while to find the right photographer, as we knew exactly what we wanted. When we came across Simon’s profile, everything just clicked — and we couldn’t be happier that we chose him. Both Simon and his lovely wife Rebecca went above and beyond to make our day feel extra special. If you’re considering booking Simon — do it! Don’t hesitate for a second. Simon and Rebecca of SKL were the photographers for our wedding in April. From our first enquiry right through to the wedding day, they were amazing. Always answered e mails and questions promptly. They made everyone feel so at ease on the day and captured the day brilliantly. Simon is so funny and gets everyone laughing for photos. We knew straight away we wanted Simon to be our wedding photographer. In the lead up he was brilliant with communication and felt well prepared and organised. We completely trusted that he knew what he was doing. On the day he put us as such ease and made our photography package personalised to what we wanted. He went above and beyond to get great shots - laying in sheep poo isn't too much for him!! He has a lovely manner with guests and made everyone feel comfortable. It's so obvious that he has a massive passion for what he does, being so creative to get good shots and thinking outside the box.

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to have Simon and Rebecca as our wedding photographers. From first contact they were friendly, professional and clearly very passionate about their work. It didn’t matter that it rained on our wedding day as the pictures we have are beautiful thanks to these two. Simon even laid on the floor in the rain, just to get the perfect shot! We got married 2 weeks ago now (05/07/25) and was planning our wedding for 2 years. Had numerous meetings with suppliers and when it came to our photographers we knew that Simon was for us. We was worried about the distance as its a good couple of hours travel but Simon assured us it wouldn't be a problem and it wasn't. The photography style was what we wanted, kept in contact with us, friendly, helpful and also drove me to our location on the day to help us out. Rebecca was amazing as well and both of them made our day enjoyable and special. Everyone is still talking about all the elements of our wedding 2 weeks on and everyone has said how lovely and funny our photographers where. Definitely recommend Simon and Rebecca and if your not sure if they can travel, just ask as we did. Absolutely amazing.

We were recomended SKL through a family friend and after meeting Simon at a wedding fayre and reviewing his prior work, we decided to book his services for our wedding being held on 31.5.25. From first point of contact Simon was open, honest, friendly, helpful and fast at responding. On the run up to the wedding Simon was helpful with all questions. He was flexible and happy to meet in person to finalise details when we were a few weeks out from the wedding. As our venue was one he hadn't photographed before, he happily went to recce the venue and liaised with our co-ordinator to ensure timings would work and where the best locations for photos were prior to the day itself. This communication between Simon and our venue co ordinator helped the day to run smoothly. On the day both Simon and Rebecca were prompt and professional. As people who are not photogenic and usually avoid the front of the camera, Simon and Rebecca put us at ease to feel comfortable throughout the day. Their personalities encouraged guests to get involved and meant we had a great time with lots of laughs - we did not feel like we were just constantly posing, they made sure we had fun throughout the process. The communication throughout and especially during the day was second to none. Even liaising with our car driver to ensure they were prepared for the direction of arrival; going above and beyond to ensure I did not arrive early through this communication with our driver. Through the ceremony they were respectful of our minister’s wishes on where they could/could not be during the service and were unobtrusive. All our guests commented on how good Simon and Rebecca were and they found them fun and friendly throughout. Following the wedding the quick turn around of our previews was suprising but very welcome - it allowed us to stay in the bubble of the wedding for longer. The amount and quality of the preview photos were outstanding and blew us away. We can't wait to see the full gallery and if the previews are anything to go by, we are sure they will not disappoint. We would highly recommend SKL and if we ever need photography again in future they will be our first choice.

Simon and Rebecca are absolutely incredible. They’re more than just your wedding photographers, they become friends. Offering words of wisdom to cracking some insane banter to helping with little tasks to capturing your day so perfectly - they’re the full package. The service was 100/10 from start to finish and stress free. One thing I would say is to not scrimp on your photos because you only get to do them once. They didn’t stop until they had the perfect shot and we are soooo happy and eternally grateful. Thank you again x

We cannot thank Simon and Rebecca enough for the amazing pictures we have from our wedding in March! Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the moment they arrived they made us feel totally at ease!! All our guests commented how great they were, so friendly and great banter with us and our guests. We would recommend them to everyone, we love every single picture we have as they captured the day so well and we are so grateful to them both that we have such amazing pictures as memories of our big day!
