100% recommend to anyone looking for a photographer, from start to finish we were not disappointed. An all round brilliant couple who are down to earth, up for a laugh and go the extra mile, nothing is too big an ask and they will do anything to capture your day perfectly, they made us and our wedding guests feel at ease and comfortable throughout the whole day capturing our day perfectly, the photos are next level and absolutely stunning exactly what we wanted and more.

The absolute best! Simon and Rebecca at SKL Photography are professional yet so much fun, and they make everyone feel relaxed and smiling naturally. They’re amazing at capturing candid moments, and the turnaround time was incredibly quick without compromising on quality. No request was too big, and everything was done without any issues. They gave us tips and tricks for the wedding. We honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough – they were fantastic from start to finish. We had so many comments from our guests about how great they were and how naturally they got everyone laughing. Truly outstanding photographers!

We are so happy to have had SKL Photography capture our wedding day in November. We had a very intimate and traditional ceremony and the photos capture the day exactly as we pictured it! Simon and Rebecca were an integral part of our special day. They showed great attention to detail, really listened to what we wanted with mang conversations and a pre shoot to ensure we had the pictures we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. Their personable and affable nature put our guests at ease and really enhanced our photos. We are delighted with the end result. The hardest part of the whole process was choosing just 100 pictures for the album given the quality of what we had to choose from. Thank you both!

Simon and Rebecca were incredibly nice and helpful throughout the whole experience, from when we first considered booking them right through to our wedding day. They also photographed our pre-shoot, and we received the photos very quickly — they were all absolutely lovely. SKL arrived at the venue early and truly went above and beyond to help capture our day. Even with the rain, they managed to get some really beautiful photos. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them.

SKL Photography made our wedding day one to remember. First of all, we were so so happy to hear you guys were available to capture our special day after seeing your amazing work! We had a meeting with Simon leading up to our wedding to discuss our day in detail & this already gave us the reassurance that we were not going to be disappointed. Nothing was ever too much of an ask & you would often find Simon low down on the ground (in the mud & puddles) or stood up on benches to get that perfect shot. Simon & Rebecca felt more like guests on our wedding day with how at ease they made everyone feel & lots of banter inbetween. The photos were everything we imagined - professional & edited to perfection. I had to attach one of our favourite photos from the day which still to this day (3 months on) people ask how Simon managed to get this shot. We will forever recommend you. The best in the business! 100% recommend! SKL Photography are perfect if you’re looking for a mix of photo styles, which we were! Simon being the group/‘posed’ photographer, and Rebecca capturing all the natural/candid moments. We knew we wanted this style and as soon as we met Simon at a Wedding Fayre, seeing the display of work, chatting about his experience and seeing his passion for photography we instantly knew we had to book them for our Wedding Day! From then on the contact was seamless and replies were always prompt, it made the planning phase so much easier. Closer to the day we had zoom calls to discuss the timeline and different aspects of the day so everyone knew what was happening and when. They also had no problem with us meeting in person to look through album choices for the package we had chosen. You just know from their personalities that they would add to the enjoyment of the day, and for 2 very camera-shy people they definitely made us both feel at ease! They had everyone laughing with their jokes and our family/friends still bring up the moment Simon decided to lay down on the grass to get that perfect shot 😂 They really did add to the enjoyment of the day! We received some preview photos the next day and our private gallery with all the photos was available 8 weeks later which we could send to all of our guests too. As mentioned earlier their mix of styles allows for a variety of photos/moments to be captured. We received over 1500 photos (in colour AND black/white) - it definitely made choosing our album photos difficult, but if anything that is testament to the quality of their work, we can’t wait for the album to be delivered! From start to finish, Simon from SKL Photography was nothing short of exceptional. His professionalism shone through at every stage — from the initial communication and planning, right through to the wedding day itself and even afterwards. On the day, Simon truly was the glue that held everything together. He kept the whole day perfectly choreographed and running smoothly, all while remaining calm, friendly, and incredibly organized. Our wedding took place during a severe storm, but even with the challenging weather, Simon came through with absolutely stunning shots. He managed to capture the most beautiful moments, including some incredible outdoor photos during the brief windows of little or no rain. Watching Simon work under those conditions — keeping our guests comfortable and everything on track — was nothing short of remarkable. He was amazing with all of our guests and especially wonderful with our children — showing endless patience and understanding, particularly with our children who are autistic. His kind and thoughtful approach made everyone feel completely at ease, which really shows in the beautiful, natural photos he captured. It took us quite a while to find the right photographer, as we knew exactly what we wanted. When we came across Simon’s profile, everything just clicked — and we couldn’t be happier that we chose him. Both Simon and his lovely wife Rebecca went above and beyond to make our day feel extra special. If you’re considering booking Simon — do it! Don’t hesitate for a second.
