One of my favourite days was when I photographed Shungu and Davids day at Northbrook Park Surrey. What. A. Day. It was an amazing event, totally different to the norm with continual dancing and singing all day!
Journalistic. Intimate. Unique. Humorous. Unrestricted.
I'm really proud to be accredited by the Royal Photographic Society. Gaining this prestigious accreditation is no easy task and the positive feedback I received where the judges noted that 'I see things in a way other people don't', is a compliment that will stick with me forever.
Book a photographer that you like. One that makes you feel comfortable and blends in with your style and your day. Once the day is over these photographs are the only thing that will remain.
I loved seeing the bridesmaids perform a surprise dance routine for the bride in place of a speech, it was an individual touch and something I'm sure she will never forget!
When I first chat with a couple I invite them to my home for an initial meeting. Everyone is welcome - especially the dog! I live in the countryside so I love being able to chat to couples about their day whilst we walk through the surrounding fields. By the time we've sat down for tea and cake I've got a really good understanding of the couple and what they want from me on their wedding day. I love to have this personal time with them as it really makes them feel relaxed and gives them an idea about me and the unobtrusive approach I take to shooting a wedding. True documentary style is not staged or forced and I will simply blend into their day, capturing the moments that they don't get to see themselves. Upon booking my services the bride and groom receive a wedding agreement, pay a deposit and then we stay in regular contact right up until the moment I turn up on their day. They can expect to receive their photos within weeks of their wedding day, and I also offer a variety of fine art print and bespoke album options.
