I have been lucky enough to photograph many beautiful weddings over the years but my most memorable was probably when I was flown to New York in 2017 to photograph a beautiful wedding next to Central Park.

As a photographer I am always proud to to be part of every wedding I photograph and it is especially rewarding to see the happy reaction of the couple when they see their wedding photos for the first time.
Think about who you are as a couple and let your wedding reflect that. Don't be afraid to add some of your personality to your day. The groom of a wedding I photographed recently was a chef so there was a real emphasise on interesting cuisine on their wedding day.
It's difficult to say as there have been so many! Each wedding is unique in its own way and impossible to choose from.
After email correspondence, I always take the time to discuss the wedding with the couple on the phone. This is an opportunity to get to know each other and talk to them about how I will work for them on the day.
Although I specialise in documentary photography I believe every couple should take time out to get some beautiful portraits of them on their own together away from the main wedding party. This gives them the opportunity to catch their breath for 20 minutes and also ensures they will have some natural but directed imagery for their album.
The couples I work with tend to book my for my own style and creativity rather than requesting specific photos although I am always open to requests and will accommodate them where possible.
An umbrella! Rain has never stopped me from getting beautiful images on a wedding day.
I have always been passionate about photography and was eventually asked by a colleague at work to photograph their wedding. It was a bit daunting but I loved it and never looked back.
