We first met Sharon at my brother’s wedding in August 2015, in this time we were able to observe and be part of a wonder woman working her magic. She was joyful, caring, spontaneous and downright fun! 2 short years later, when it came to our own wedding, we knew there was no-one else we wanted to capture our special day.
On the day, a brisk, overcast January morning, Sharon arrived with a smile on her face and absolutely raring to go. She effortlessly captured the natural moments, blending into the crowd, as well as putting us well and truly at ease during those ‘posed’ shots. Something that will always stand out with us (which our guests to this day also commend) is the time she took to get to know our family and friends. It was wonderful to see her do this, showing she saw -and thus captured- them as the hearts and soul of a special day, rather than merely photographing them as strangers in a room on ‘just another’ wedding day. This unique, caring nature meant that she too became a cherished guest.
We couldn’t be happier with every image we have received and are so SO glad Sharon was a part of it. We continue to look back at our photos and are delighted with each individual moment, emotion even, she managed to catch: slight glances, nervous faces, make-up touch ups, teeth checks and even the delicate moment of the Groom tying his son’s shoelace. On a whole, Sharon’s relaxed, fun personality; incomparable, exceptional skills and sheer passion for her work fitted into our wedding theme and vibe like a missing puzzle piece. She completed our wedding and for that we now have perfect memories that we will treasure forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Sharon x
