Surindera Studios was originally set up in 1972 by Surinder Balrai, the inspiration for the business name and the father of our current head photographer Shaminder. Surinder began building a name for himself working as a specialist Indian and Asian wedding film maker and photographer. He later worked with his son to pass on his expertise, and eventually the studio too. With almost 45 years in business since then, Surindera Studios has built up an excellent reputation and earned numerous awards in recent years, including the following: x2 WPPI 2014 Second Half Competition Awards in the categories of Bride/Groom Alone and Bride & Groom Together x12 SWPP 2016, 20×16 Awards in the categories of Wedding Classical, Wedding Avant Garde, Wedding Photo Journalism and Portrait Classical IOV Film of the Month Winner March 2014 x2 WPPI 2016 Annual Competition Film Awards in the category of Wedding Film IOV Film of the Month Winner May 2016
