This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
If this is your first professional photoshoot, don’t worry — most couples I work with haven’t been photographed before. I’ll guide you when needed, keep things relaxed, and focus on natural moments rather than stiff posing. There’s no expectation to “perform” for the camera. My approach is calm, documentary-led, and designed to make you feel comfortable from the start.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel within Birmingham and the surrounding areas is typically included. For weddings elsewhere in the UK or destination coverage, travel is quoted clearly in advance, so there are no surprises. Everything is discussed during your consultation call and confirmed before booking.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Bad weather happens, especially in the UK, and it’s never a problem. I plan with flexibility in mind and will adapt locations, timings, or approaches if needed. Overcast skies often photograph beautifully, and light rain rarely stops us from creating strong, natural images. If conditions change, we adjust — calmly.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Yes. I regularly recommend and photograph at a range of wedding venues and locations across Birmingham and the UK, from city registry offices to countryside estates. During planning, I’ll suggest locations that suit your timeline, lighting, and overall feel of the day, whether that’s something iconic or more low-key and intimate.
When do we get our photos back?
Typically, the process can range from 4 to 12 weeks. This will be discussed in your initial call.
