Hi, I'm Scott.
I believe your wedding should feel like a wedding, not a photoshoot with a party attached.
You get on with having a brilliant day. I'll take care of the photographs.
I'll get to know you and your people, keep an eye on what's happening and help when I'm useful. I'm looking for the big moments, of course, but also all the stuff happening around them. The nerves before the ceremony. Your dad trying not to cry. Your mates absolutely losing it during the speeches. The ridiculous dance moves. The hugs, chaos and little moments you didn't even see happening.
Most of my couples tell me they're awkward in front of a camera. That's absolutely fine.
You don't need to know how to pose, where to stand or what to do with your hands. We'll make a little time for some lovely photographs of you two and any family groups you'd like, then you can get back to the people you actually invited.
• A handful of sneak peeks by the following day
• Your full gallery usually within 2–4 weeks, often sooner
• A private online gallery for easy downloading, sharing and print ordering
• Help with timings and planning whenever you need it
• Over 10 years of professional photography experience
• Official photographer for Glastonbury's West Holts Stage since 2017
• Me. From the planning to the dance floor, you've got the same person looking after you
You don't need to squeeze your wedding into a photography package.
The Little One gives you two hours for the important bits.
Half Day gives us four hours and plenty more room to tell the story.
The One is the option I recommend for most weddings. Eight hours gives us enough time to cover everything from the excitement and chaos beforehand, through the ceremony, drinks and speeches, and into the party.
And if you're planning something bigger, further away or slightly ridiculous, tell me about it. We'll work out what you actually need.
I'll work incredibly hard. I'll look after you. We'll make a great team.
I want you to look back at your photographs and remember how your wedding felt, not just how it looked.
No awkward performance. No disappearing for hours.
Just you, your people and a photographer who's got you.
That's like asking me to pick a favourite cat! Every wedding is memorable for different reasons. One of my favourites was a summer wedding where the forecast predicted rain all day, but the sun came out, everyone relaxed, and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. The best weddings aren't always the most expensive or extravagant, they're the ones where people are genuinely enjoying themselves and celebrating with the people they love.
Relaxed, Fun, Natural, Emotional, Storytelling
The trust my couples place in me. Most people tell me they're nervous about being photographed, then a few weeks after the wedding they tell me they forgot I was even there. Creating a relaxed atmosphere where people can be themselves, then delivering their gallery within 4 weeks (usually 14 days) is something I'm incredibly proud of.
Don't spend your wedding day worrying about your wedding day. The more relaxed you are, the more you'll enjoy it, and the better your photographs will be. Build a timeline with a little breathing room and trust the people you've hired to do their jobs.
Honestly, it's rarely the expensive things. I've seen grandparents acting as flower girls, dogs delivering rings, surprise singalongs, family recipes served as evening food, and handwritten letters exchanged before the ceremony. The best personal touches are the ones that tell your story.
The moments between the moments. The nervous smile before the ceremony, a proud parent wiping away a tear, friends laughing during the speeches, or a couple sharing a quiet moment together while everyone else is busy celebrating. Those are often the photographs people treasure most.
By not turning your wedding into a photoshoot. Most of the day I'm simply documenting what naturally unfolds. During couple portraits I'll give gentle guidance, but there are no awkward poses or forced smiles. We usually go for a short walk, have a chat, and create natural images without it feeling like hard work.
Because I'll care about your wedding as much as you do. I bring over a decade of professional photography experience, a relaxed approach, fast delivery, and a genuine love for telling people's stories. My goal is simple: help you enjoy your day and give you photographs that bring those memories flooding back every time you look at them.
Honestly, don't worry about it.
The weather is one of the few things none of us can control, and some of my favourite wedding photographs have been taken in the rain. Great photographs are about emotion, atmosphere and people, not sunshine.
I'll always have a backup plan, whether that's finding beautiful indoor locations, making use of covered areas, or embracing the weather with a few creative shots. And if you absolutely had your heart set on sunny portraits, we can always arrange a relaxed post-wedding shoot on another day.
My photography journey started in the music industry, photographing bands, festivals and live events. I'm now the official photographer for Glastonbury's West Holts Stage and have spent over a decade working in fast-paced environments where moments happen in an instant and lighting conditions constantly change.
That experience taught me how to anticipate moments, work quickly and tell stories through photographs, skills that translate perfectly to weddings. While the subjects may have changed, the goal remains the same: capturing genuine emotion, real moments and memories that matter.
