Describe your typical process with a couple.
After booking, I ask couples to send me their itinerary/group shot plan a month or two before the big day, along with any special ideas/inspiration for photos.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Every couple is different, and you tend to get a feel instantly for photos that will work for them. I like my couples to be as themselves and look natural :)
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
My dinosaur chasing the guests photo.. which is quite well known now I believe. I get asked to do this quite often :)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I leave this to the bride's discretion - some brides embrace the rain, and I've had an amazing beach shoot with a bride paddling in the sea in the pouring rain. With others we have used umbrellas/cover or taken photos inside.
Describe how you got into photography.
I'd always had a passion for it, but spent 10 years in marketing before going freelance and living the dream.
