What is your most memorable wedding?
All weddings are memorable. Because I spend some time getting to know each of my couples before the big day, there is a personal connection for me to each of my weddings.

I love farm weddings.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I believe it is really important for me to get to know each of my couples before the wedding day so that I can understand what they want from their wedding photography. I am always happy to meet up with a couple during the booking stage so that we can all determine whether or not I am the right photographer to cover their day. The next time I see the couple is for their planning meeting. This is a very thorough and detailed meeting where we look at all details of the day. My coverage on the day will depend on what is required by the couple. Naturally I want to give as much coverage as I possibly can whilst I am with my couple, from the bride and groom shots down to the tiny details that make the day their own. Following the wedding day there is further communication with the couple to determine the finished presentation of their photos and any wedding albums.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Impossible to single out a single photo.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I have photographed wedding ceremonies with horses and dogs, a wedding in a cattle shed and in a lighthouse.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I always advise my couples to buy themselves a wedding brolly, that way it never rains :)
Describe how you got into photography.
I have been involved in the photographic industry all my adult life. Working in photo-journalism, advertising and later as a wedding, portrait and event photographer.
