My approach combines documentary storytelling with fine art photography. I focus on capturing real emotions and those precious, unscripted moments as they happen. By working unobtrusively, I let your day unfold naturally, creating a collection of creative, contemporary images that reflect the joy and happiness of your celebration.
Getting to know you before the big day is key. This helps you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. I’ll work closely with you during the planning process to understand your photography needs and vision. Many couples find a pre-wedding shoot a great way to connect and ease any nerves.
No matter the size of your celebration—intimate or grand—I’m dedicated to creating a stunning visual narrative that captures the emotions and special moments unique to your wedding. These are the images you and your family will treasure for a lifetime.
All weddings are memorable. Because I spend some time getting to know each of my couples before the big day, there is a personal connection for me to each of my weddings.
Natural, contemporary and relaxed.
I moved from Surrey to Wales. I virtually had to start my business again from scratch. I am proud that I have managed to establish a successful business again here in beautiful Wales.
A planning meeting with your photographer at the wedding venue's a month before the wedding.
I love farm weddings.
I believe it is really important for me to get to know each of my couples before the wedding day so that I can understand what they want from their wedding photography. I am always happy to meet up with a couple during the booking stage so that we can all determine whether or not I am the right photographer to cover their day. The next time I see the couple is for their planning meeting. This is a very thorough and detailed meeting where we look at all details of the day. My coverage on the day will depend on what is required by the couple. Naturally I want to give as much coverage as I possibly can whilst I am with my couple, from the bride and groom shots down to the tiny details that make the day their own. Following the wedding day there is further communication with the couple to determine the finished presentation of their photos and any wedding albums.
Impossible to single out a single photo.
I have photographed wedding ceremonies with horses and dogs, a wedding in a cattle shed and in a lighthouse.
I always advise my couples to buy themselves a wedding brolly, that way it never rains :)
I have been involved in the photographic industry all my adult life. Working in photo-journalism, advertising and later as a wedding, portrait and event photographer.
