Ryan and Lina White were our absolute dream team. Planning a wedding overseas in a completely different country meant we had to place full trust in the people we chose — and choosing them was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we discovered Ryan’s work, we knew he was the person we wanted capturing our day. Over the 2.5 years of planning, every conversation only confirmed that. They listened, offered thoughtful advice, and truly understood our vision. When we finally met in person on our wedding day, they were an absolute hoot. They brought such an effortless energy that made it easy to relax, laugh, be present, and just enjoy every moment. Their professionalism and personality were the perfect blend. And the photos? Beyond anything we ever imagined. We have so many favorites that choosing a “best” feels impossible — every single image is superb. Ryan and Lina, thank you for your love, your care, and your incredible attention to detail. We are endlessly grateful.

We've been looking forward to writing this review. Ryan White Photography went above and beyond with our wedding shoot and photos. We booked them over email from Canada, and they were great to communicate with. On our wedding day, Ryan and Lina showed up promptly and were so charming, sweet, and sincere that they really contributed to making our event memorable. The photos arrived promptly after processing and THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! This team really knows what they're doing and we were happy to trust their process throughout the shoot. They exude confidence and charisma, and my partner and I kept saying to each other during the shoot "Thank God... we made a good choice." There's a lot you can't control about your wedding: travel interruptions, guest behavior, weather, etc. Why not mitigate the uncertainty of your big day by booking the best damn photographer in the business. Ryan and Lina are true professionals and so easy to work with and the pictures are incredible. We're really gratefully for their presence and contribution to our special day. Can't recommend them enough!

When I started to think about wedding vendors I fell in love with samples of Ryan White Photography's work and was so excited that Ryan and Lina were available to shoot my micro wedding at Melville Castle. Lina was a joy to talk to over email to discuss packages and everything and when we finally met them both in person at the wedding they were both warm, friendly, and professionals who are clearly masters of their craft. Neither my husband nor I like to have our photo taken and both made that experience so pleasant and enjoyable that I didn't even feel awkward posing. I usually am critical of how I look in photos but there was none of that with their work, I am very happy with how the shots turned out. It was also fun laughing with my guests during photos. Ryan and Lina were also so patient with my little dog Daisy and got such cute photos of her! I am so happy that they were our wedding photographers because we got incredibly beautiful shots that I teared up over when I saw the gallery. They both went above and beyond to make our tiny wedding be special and memorable. I am so grateful to the both of them for giving us a beautiful experience that we will always remember thanks to their gorgeous photos, on what my husband and I agree was the happiest day of our lives. (And I am sure Daisy would agree, too!)

I would recommend Ryan and Lina a hundred times over! You hope your wedding day is captured as beautifully as you remember it, and they did it even better than we could have asked. Ryan's incredible attention to detail with Lina's fantastic organizing shows why they are such a great team and why their work is amazing. (Have to also mention Lina's ability to round everyone up for group photos - seriously, not sure how she remembered every family member's name after knowing them for 5 minutes?!) Not only did they capture our couple portraits beautifully but we received so many candids of our guests which we loved so much. Our friends and families could not say enough great things about them and they kept everything so fun and light for us, while still capturing the beautiful emotions of the day. Book them!! You will be so happy you did.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Ryan and Lina. From start to finish, they were professional, thoughtful, and incredibly talented. The quality of the photos is just outstanding—every shot is beautifully composed, crisp, and full of life. But beyond the technical excellence, what really blew us away was how perfectly they captured the spirit and emotion of the day. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving each moment all over again, and we’re honestly still in awe at how they managed to be everywhere at once, without ever feeling intrusive. Where to even start! 🥹🤍 Working in the wedding industry, I have worked with some fantastic photographers, however I connected so well with Ryan and Lina early on and loved their style, so when it came to my own wedding, there was never a question on who I wanted to capture it. My now husband has heard me speak of them for years, (so much so he feels like he knew them too) and has come across their portfolio many times at his own work and was just as, if not, more delighted to have them secured for our wedding. You won't find anyone more personable and approachable that Lina. They will both undoubtedly put you at ease before, on the day and after but Lina just has this incredible way of communicating and relaxing you. We still have no idea what she whispered to my 3 year old but he stayed put, smiling for the photos. 👌🏼 Many of our friends and especially our immediate family who were in more photos are still commenting on how amazing they were. In fact, the morning after the wedding the first thing my husband said was just how incredible they were. They are so unobtrusive, they just get on and get everything done without you really noticing too much. I had a busy bridal prep with bridesmaids, parents, MUA, hairdresser, videographer too and they still made it feel calm. Very importantly, I didn't feel rushed and as my husband was getting ready at the venue round the corner they were back and forth capturing all the best moments, not missing out on anything! During the events of the day they were just exceptional. We didn't notice them doing their thing at all which was just perfect as they captured the most wonderful candid moments of us and all of our guests as well as all of the portraits and group shots. The couple portraits were so much fun! Coming from two people who aren't comfortable getting photos taken, they just had a great laugh with us which has made the photos amazing as they are so natural. Since receiving our photos, I think I look at them pretty much every day! I cannot wait to get some printed and in our home. Ryan is really just so talented! Unreal!! I could go on and on but there really aren't enough words to convey how happy and appreciative we are to have had Ryan White Photography capture our wedding day. Hiring Ryan and Lina to photograph my wedding at Borthwick Castle (recommended by the castle) was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. My (now) husband and I are located in the US and hired them without ever having been to Scotland (or Borthwick Castle). We went to Scotland a year before the wedding to go see Borthwick, H&M trial, cake tasting, etc. and Lina and Ryan kindly met up with us at Borthwick to review things. It really put my mind at ease and they advised me on things I hadn't even thought about wedding wise. They also recommended other vendors to me which was very helpful! Ahead of the wedding we exchanged many emails and whatsapp chats so when the wedding day arrived it felt like old friends were photographing us. We aren't used to being photographed/posed and they made it so easy and natural. They helped move us through the day without feeling like we were being kept to a schedule or missing the festivities to take photos. Not only did they know the venue well which made aided in the day, but their kindness and professionalism made them a pleasure to work with from start to finish. And the photos, WOW! I looked like a real princess. I shared the photos with my family and friends and so many people reached out to me impressed with how much they got on camera. I'll treasure these photos and memories for a lifetime. Thank you for everything!
