FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A New Years day wedding at Highclere Castle ( Downton Abbey) back in 2011. Elegant in every way.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Discreet, Unobtrusive, Emotive, Documentary, Creative

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of the fact that I have been doing this full time now for 17years and brides and grooms to be still keep booking my services. What is really nice is siblings and other family members are booking me based on the superb job I did for their family in the past.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Trust your suppliers, we are good at what we do for a reason.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One of the best table plans I've seen was of everybody's profile pic hanging on ribbons with the person's table number on the back, great idea. Old family wedding pictures left out on the side is also a nice touch, such as parents and grandparents etc.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Listen, Listen, Listen!!! Every wedding is different and I tailor what I do to tie in with my clients' visions of their perfect day.

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

From my experience every couple should have one of my after dark photo shoots, perfect for hanging on the wall.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I don't really get asked for pictures, my clients trust my experience and that I can work with my surroundings to deliver an original image for every client.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Trust your photographer, a really good photographer would be able to give you an amazing image on rainy days if they have the right equipment.

Describe how you got into photography.

I did a GCSE in photography at school back in the days of film. Learning my trade in the darkroom hand printing colour and black an white prints back in 1992. 26 years later and I still have a strong passion for photography, I'm very lucky that I get paid to do the thing I love to do most, make pictures.
