Robert Hooper Photography Full Description
We are natural wedding photographers providing exceptional documentary wedding photography throughout the south in a unique contemporary style. We are based on the borders of West Sussex and Surrey, but also cover Kent, London and the whole of the South. We specialise in relaxed, informal and modern wedding photography with two photographers (Rob & Karen) at every wedding and high resolution files included as standard. Our approach is a discreet mix of very natural documentary wedding photography – mostly candid pictures of your guests enjoying themselves in a reportage style - and a special collection of informal portraits of the bride and groom. This informal mix of modern reportage wedding photography and a handful of traditional wedding portraits creates a unique collection of images telling the story of your wedding day. All standard weddings include a complete set of high res files, and we also offer a superb range of coffee table wedding albums, made in Italy with all albums individually designed to complement your pictures perfectly. Please visit our website for full wedding galleries and more information - or drop us a line to see what we can do for you!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A Jewish wedding which we photographed a couple of years ago - there was so much happening all day. We loved the traditional dancing - you can see a picture among our photos uploaded here. So much to see and so many different colours and angles to capture.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Reportage, natural, candid, colourful, interesting.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The testimonials we receive from our clients when we've provided them with a set of pictures that they will treasure.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Choose your venue and photographer early - both book up very early, so once you're settled on a particular date, get in there fast and get them booked before somebody else does!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We're more than happy to meet our couples before booking if they want to - although these days, with busy clients who have many things to do, we actually meet most couples for the very first time on the day of the wedding! We've made sure our website shows lots of information and details - and photos! - so our couples can book with confidence, no matter if we meet or not first. Our testimonials are a credit to this. :-)

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Confetti shot: to me, it really sums up the happy, lively and fun wedding day - without looking all posed and frumpy!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Well, the obvious answer may be "bring a brolly"... but in all honesty, I'd say the most important thing to bring is a great attitude and a smile: don't sweat the small stuff, and you'll enjoy a fantastic day... no matter what the weather throws at you!

Describe how you got into photography.

I got my first camera at the age of around 12 years old. I was instantly hooked, started learning there and then, and have been doing it ever since. :-)
