I'd say Kelly and David's, they had a beautiful church ceremony and the reception was in a beautiful country house, they had a vintage Rolls Royce, a 1950's police car AND a horse and carriage!
Documentary, candid, colourful, classic, timeless
Having my work recognised in regional wedding awards within the first year of starting the business and shooting 50 weddings that same year.
Enjoy the journey, it only happens once! Relax with each step and ask your suppliers for their unique tips on the day as we have done this countless times.
Got to be the 50's police car at the policemans wedding
After requesting me, I like to arrange a consultation with the couple to be able to cover all the details, timings and special moments. I like to have good communication with the couple as things change/get booked often through out the process, so I always have a 1 month check in to ensure everything is all to schedule still. Also I send a day before message to give peace of mind that the couple don't need to worry about the photographer on the day. After the wedding I aim to get a first look gallery up within 7 days, before the final gallery is published.
I absolutely adore the moments during the couples shoots when you are alone together for the first time as a couple and I capture that candid shot whilst I'm leaving you to be together. These are the ones that you'll remember the longest as they capture everything that is magical about the wedding day.
My couple took me off for a drive in the 1940's American WW2 Jeep, that was the bridal car.
Embrace it (it rained on my wedding day and I got married in southern Italy, typical.). As photographers there's always a plan B, we are used to having to think on our feet, so we can shoot more shots indoors OR if you are really courageous.. shoot epic shots in the rain! (after the ceremony of course)
I loved it as a child, I used to collect postcards which led to me picking up a camera. I worked for several large photography companies across the world, doing portraits and travel photography as well as countless commissions in varying fields of photography.
