Their goal is to tell your unique love story through genuine moments and authentic portraits. If you’re a couple who values heartfelt storytelling and wants a photographer who blends seamlessly into your day, Red Wren Studios could be the perfect choice.

A Relaxed, Documentary Approach to Wedding Photography

Your wedding day is made up of countless special moments—from the quiet excitement of getting ready to the lively celebrations on the dance floor. Red Wren Studios focuses on a documentary style, capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. This relaxed approach helps you and your guests feel comfortable, resulting in photos full of real emotion and spontaneous interactions.

While candid shots are the priority, gentle guidance is offered during couple portraits to ensure you look your best without feeling stiff or posed.

Flexible Photography Packages Tailored to Your Wedding

  • Full-Day Wedding Photography: Covering up to 10 hours, this package captures everything from morning preparations to your first dance. It includes creative couple portraits, family group photos, and all the key moments in between. You’ll receive over 600 fully edited images, ready for printing and sharing.
  • Half-Day Wedding Photography: Perfect for shorter celebrations, this option covers up to 5 hours. It typically includes guest arrivals, the ceremony, family photos, and couple portraits. Expect over 400 fully edited images with the same printing and sharing rights.
  • Engagement Photoshoots: A great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. These sessions help you relax and build confidence for your big day.

More Than Just the Big Moments

Your wedding day is full of meaningful details—the rings, bouquets, place settings, and décor—that deserve to be remembered. Red Wren Studios pays close attention to these personal touches, ensuring they’re beautifully documented.

Family and friends play a huge role in your celebration, and capturing their presence and candid moments is a priority. The lively energy of your reception, from laughter to dancing, is also thoughtfully recorded to complete your wedding story.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Working at Stubton Hall when the Red Arrows flew over during the reception, leaving their iconic trails of smoke!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative, vibrant, relaxed, natural, exciting

What about your business are you most proud of?

I've gained a lot of self-confidence working in various areas of photography.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Pick suppliers that you know will make you feel at ease. I've seen too many suppliers that stress couples out on their day. Personally, I will always go out of my way to ensure I'm as unobtrusive as possible whilst working and considerate to guests and couples alike!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love anything that's hand-made. I once worked at a wedding hosted at a social club, but it had been decorated incredibly!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once a deposit has been paid I will send out a booking form. This will confirm what I am contracted to do on the day as well as give couples a chance to tell me what the schedule of the day will be and any bespoke needs they have. I am always happy to meet with couples prior to the day to discuss any needs, or even just to say hi!

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A photograph somewhere private where they can have a moment to themselves. Often it's a few hours after the ceremony and first chance they get to be alone as a married couple.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A groom wearing a pair of boxers gifted by his wife-to-be!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

A positive attitude! Fortunately I haven't worked many rainy weddings but the ones I have were never ruined as everyone maintained a positive vibe. It's hard to be miserable at a wedding afterall!

Describe how you got into photography.

I can remember playing with cameras as long as I've lived. I'm sure my parents would probably cringe at us using their film cameras as children. Alas, in later life I got my first DSLR as a teen, I'd mostly take photographs of landscapes, sunsets and our dog. Ever since, I am rarely without a camera and have never stopped seeking self-improvement!
