Rebecca Tipping Photography Full Description
I provide beautiful, honest photography, which doesn't try to create something else from your special day, but instead captures it in its truest form and importantly as you will remember it. I offer a menu of services allowing you to have control over what you do or don't want from your photography, for example you can select how much of the day you wish me to capture and the type of media you wish to have your photos on afterwards, from a simple USB containing all of the images ready to print, to luxurious albums and wall art. You decide on the package that best suits your day! I will firstly meet you for a pre-wedding consultation and if possible we will then visit the venue together nearer the date of the wedding, maybe even for a pre-wedding photo shoot. Either way this allows us to get to know each other as well as have a look around your venue and find the best spots in preparation for some pictures on the day. After your wedding day, the photo's are normally ready within 3 weeks and at this point they are uploaded to a personal on-line gallery. Here you can have your first look and of course pick your favourites as well as share with friends and family. Following this we will arrange to meet again and depending on what media you have chosen, we can talk through the options and anything else you would like from your wedding pictures. Although based in the south west of England, I do cover nationwide and internationally and would welcome a discussion about your special day. Happy Planning!!!

FAQs

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Beautiful, Natural, Honest, Discreet, Timeless

What about your business are you most proud of?

The honesty of my photographs.... I'm not trying to make your day have a pink and fluffy glow, that clearly wasn't there nor will I pose you within an inch of your life... I just capture all the beautiful moments as they really were!! This I find is a much more relaxed and natural approach, which means you enjoy your day and each other rather than spending hours with a photographer!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Aside from enjoying planning it.... I think my top tip would have to be to keep it simple.....all too often lots of details or lots of things going on can make a wedding quiet fussy, some of the best weddings I've photographed have been really simple. The old "less is more" springs to mind, for example a wedding I photographed at a village church, with home grown wild flowers and sweet pea's, origami butterflies and a village hall venue, turned out to be such a beautiful day. Ok so we all love a beautiful venue, and of course i'll be the first to think about possible photograph spots but sometimes when the details and location are a little more low key, then the feel of family and friends and the actual marriage shines through as the important parts of the day as it should be!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Home-made, knitted heart favours.....I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make them all given there were 50 plus guests, but it was such a lovely touch....and I was so pleased with mine, it still hangs on a door handle in my home today!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Wellies, Brollies and fun fun fun.... We can always talk through back up plans, such as your venue itself, or if this doesn't provide too many options, then maybe a second location. Places such as museums or even public places can make for some interesting photos!
