What is your most memorable wedding?
Being flown to Sorrento, Italy for 4 days to capture a wedding. All expenses paid. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Artistic, Natural, Professional, Passionate, Relaxed
What about your business are you most proud of?
The albums and prints I supply. I love seeing printed images rather than just stuck on a USB in a drawer. And my reviews - I have been in hospitality most of my adult life and reading the reviews clients leave for me shows that the service I offer is recognised and appreciated.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
You can only please some of the people, some of the time. But you can please yourself all of the time.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I am very down to earth, like to have a laugh and get to know you, so I invite all couples to my studio to have a chat and show off my stunning albums and walls filled with photos. I try to make everything as simple as possible for you as your wedding should be stress free, so most of the experience with me is online - except the day of course.
On the day you will see I am the bridesmaid you didn't need to buy a dress for and go out of my way to make sure you have a great day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A photo with everyone you hold dearest.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bride & groom in the back of an ambulance. True story.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A "who cares" attitude, one of my umbrellas and some wellies.
Describe how you got into photography.
Having a Great Grandad, Grandad and Dad all being a photographer at some point in their lives must be in the blood somewhere. I got asked to do a friends wedding and it just spiralled from there. Now I get to do something I love and I haven't worked a day since.
