Get to know your suppliers. Personality is important - if you get on with them communication will be easier.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Upon enquiry, finding out what they are looking for. I like to meet in person if possible, to really get to know the couple, hear all about their plans and provide further examples of my work.
Once chosen a £250 deposit secures their date. I stay in contact throughout the lead up to keep up to date with plans and answer any questions. If having an engagement shoot I like to do this around 2 months before the wedding date, with final plans confirmed and balance paid 6 weeks prior to the big day.
I always aim to provide a sneak peek on social media within 24 hours, and final images ready within 8 weeks.

Describe how you got into photography.
Photographing my children, my friends, my travels. It naturally evolved into me taking the plunge and setting up my own business.
