We highly recommend Rachael Pereira photography to anyone looking for amazing professional photos taken by such lovely people. Rachael and Ste were fantastic from day one. We were both very excited and scared of what photographer to choose as obviously you only get one shot and it meant so much to us both. Rachael and Ste put us at ease and explained everything that they would do and always made us feel relaxed and in charge of our special day. Our photos were amazing and we were even picked to go into the Essex Wedding Magazine where we had a 4 page spread of our wedding. This is all thanks to Rachael and Ste and their amazing talents with the camera. We would both highly recommend Rachael Pereira photography and we are still in regular contact with Rachael and Ste even today.

I got married at 'The Lawn' on September 15th 2014. Rachael was amazing, so professional and attentive to your each and every want and need. I felt that that no part of my magical day was missed due to Rachael's eye for detail. Rachael was with us all day right into the evening and we even had a photo booth, which again was so much fun! My Husband and I recently Married in Sunny Southend on Sea and had the best day ever! Largely due to Rachael and Steve. I first met them at a wedding fair and chatted for ages, despite the many photographers we left our details with, Rachael was the first and one of few to get back to us! (And remembered our conversation). Both of them are genuinely lovely and really understand what's needed for the day (offering advice on things I'd not even thought about). We had such fun getting to know them both and they made our special day run with ease. They blended in with the family perfectly and our photos are just stunning! They were both very organised and ensured they knew exactly what we expected from them yet were also very flexible with our requests on the day. We were so pleased we chose Rachael and Ste to photograph our wedding, they were approachable, professional, down to earth and made us feel so relaxed. We had an engagement shoot too which we enjoyed and it helped with knowing what to expect. Prices were very reasonable and we were completely satisfied with the end photos. Rachael and Ste were recommended by a friend, we made arrangements to meet along with a couple of other photographers. Rachael and Ste were first, after meeting them we cancelled the others and booked them for our day. They instantly made us at ease, were genuinely interested in us, made the process leading up to the day fun, including a BBQ and our engagement shoot. The day itself was amazing and Rachael and Ste blended in with family and friends. The photos are amazing, they captured some great moments, memories we will cherish forever, and 2 years on I still go back into the app and look through them. Would highly recommend Rachael and Ste, 2 of our friends also booked them for their wedding. They are the Best!!

We first met Rachael at a wedding Fayre and instantly felt at ease in her company. We had three sessions as part of our package, our engagement shoot at Colchester Zoo - this was so much fun and the pictures we were able to use on our big day (we had a safari theme as that is where we had got engaged). Rachael and Ste then captured everything on our special day, even the rain!!! Due to the rain, we felt slightly disappointed that we hadn't been able to use the amazing grounds of our venue Gaynes Park, which is where the third photo shoot came in. Rachael arranged with the venue for us to go back and have a cherish the dress photo shoot. It was great, not only did we get to dress up all over again, but we were so much more relaxed and had an absolute blast on this occasion. The pictures from all three events are memories we will have forever! We would definitely recommend Rachael and Ste, so much so our friends that got married this year also booked them for their special day.

Me and my husband got married in August 2015 in Essex in an old tudor residence called 'Layer Marney Tower'. We chose Rachael and Ste as our wedding photographers upon a recommendation by a friend. We decided for them to be at our wedding up until the evening to ensure that no memory was missed. We were not disappointed with the pictures. They are very high quality, matching the beautiful venue. We spend a lot of the day outside and the pictures came out stunning. By booking Rachael we actually booked 2 photographers in one, which meant pictures could be taken in several places at one time, whether it was when me and my husband got ready at different venues or whether it was during any other point of the program of the day which meant we not only had amazing pictures of the two of us but also captures lovely memories of our guests. After the wedding, we received all our pictures on a memory stick, as well as an additional little surprise. Throughout the entire process Rachael and Ste are very approachable and helpful, not tired of any little panic question I may had. (quite a few) Their package also includes an engagement shot, which was a great way to get used to one another and gave the perfect opportunity to have a relaxed chat about what we wanted exactly. (and a good opportunity for a drink). All in all we are very happy with how our day went and the pictures reflect the day and the venue beautifully.

We met Rachael and Ste at a wedding fair in Southend, and we instantly felt comfortable around them. I prefer to be behind the camera than in front of it, so this was a big deal for me to be able to relax for our wedding photo's. They came to my house for a chat before we decided to go with them, and it was like having friends over, and I loved that we could get a good selection of photos from our wedding day captured. The engagement shoot shot was a great fun and we were able to go through with Rachael and Set types of photos we would like. Rachael was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. And on the wedding day with was like they were our guests too, part of the family. All our guests and family loved them and they slid right into the day. Our photo's are amazing!!! We've had many great comments. They captured all aspects of our day and we loved having them part of our special day. I will recommend them to others and I hope to have them again for other events in the future :) Thank you so much!! xxx

Rachael and Steve made us and our guests very relaxed. It felt so natural and not false. We did not notice that they were even there. All our requirements were met. Both the informal and formal photographs were top notch. We were sent nearly 500 photos on a memory stick in a lovely presentation tin. Also a very efficient service and easy to contact.
