What is your most memorable wedding?
I worked at a Slovenian wedding. The day can only be descrbed as organised chaos but in a good way. The whole day was treated like a party, the couple had a marching band to keep everyone entertained and ended the day with a 20 minute first dance. They just kept going. The family and guest's were amazing, always singing and genuinly enjoying the day. Its always the people to me that make a wedding, where ever the wedding is as long as the guests are enjoying it you have a fantastic day.

What about your business are you most proud of?
The relationships I have built with my clients, my weddings usually end in a group hug which is the biggest compliment to me. My couple's shout my praises and recommend me to thier freinds meaning I often see them over and over again at future weddings. I'm lucky to count my previous couples as freinds.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I worked at a wedding where the grandmother made the cake, she had put so much thought and effort into it and the bride cried when she saw it. It was beatuiful with carefully indiviudally made flowers curling round.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After your first inquiry I will arrange a meeting with you. If it is not possible to meet in person we will have a chat on Skype or over the phone, whichever you prefer. It's important to me that we meet up and talk to see if we all get along as whoever you choose you will spend a lot of time with. We will discuss your day, any plans already made, the must-have photos and answer any questions you have.
If you are happy and wish to book we will go ahead and secure your date with a deposit and I will provide you with a receipt and contract. As your date approaches, I will send you a questionnaire. Don't worry it's not huge! This outlines all the key shots you want for example any group shots, if you have anything unusual planned that I should be aware of and allows us to look at your time plan for the day and make sure there is time for all your desired photos while still letting you have plenty of time to relax and mingle with your guests.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
First Kiss
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbreallas, wellies and a willingness to trust me, embrace the weather we can still get the photo's your dreaming of. Rain at night can give the effect of sparkels in your photos.
Describe how you got into photography.
Photography was always a part-time activity for me, it gave me the creative release that my work as a petrochemical engineer did not allow. After 12 long years, redundancy gave me the opportunity to pursue photography full-time. I’ve not looked back since. I have worked alongside and trained with various incredibly talented photographers and will continue to train and attend workshops and seminars to develop my work. I truly believe that we never stop learning. Whilst not perhaps apparent at fist my engineering background has helped me immensely. It taught me basic angles, light and how to control it, planning which is so important on weddings and to cope in a high stress or fast-paced situation, which again weddings can be.
