This one is a tough question since there are many great options to chose from. However if we had to pick one, our favourite wedding would be Danielle&Tom wedding. What makes this wedding especially memorable is the combination of the couple, the guests and the venue. Everyone was so supportive and excited everyone to be there, which was easy to tell by the amount of happy tears shed, including from the couple. Danielle&Tom are a couple who balance each other out, and it was a pleasure to capture their memories. From a photographers perspective it was memorable for the beautiful venue. Bourton Hall is a fantastic venue, we could shoot there for hours and never run out of ideas.
Elegant, classical, timeless, authentic, genuine.
We pride ourselves on being able to adapt to situations even if plans get sidetracked or changed - no matter what happens at the wedding we make sure to deliver quality photographs no matter what.
No wedding goes according to the timeline. Even if you are punctual, other people aren't. Things will get delayed - make sure you leave ample time between events.
Our favourite personal touch would also be the tastiest. During one wedding, the couple decided to make biscuits with the names of the guests on them.
One month before the wedding we will ask you to fill out our pre-wedding online questionnaire, where you will provide the details about your wedding (locations, contacts, timeline, etc.) and your photography preferences.
Then we will take awesome photos at the wedding! We will usually come to your hotel/home two hours before you finish getting ready. Whilst the bride is having her hair/makeup done, we will photograph her dress, shoes and other details. When she is in her dress, we will take morning bridal portraits; we will also take portraits of the groom getting ready if you’d like us to. Then the ceremony itself, and after that we will take formal family/group photos and formal/funny portraits of the bridesmaids and groomsmen – usually after a cocktail break for the guests. Then it’s time for the wedding breakfast – we will take photos of the room before the guests arrive. During the breakfast we will take photos of the food and then the speeches. After the wedding breakfast it’s usually time to take the couple’s portraits. Afterwards we will take photos of the cake cutting and first dance, and then the evening party and dancing. This is a typical scenario, but there is no “typical” wedding – don’t worry if your scenario is different from the one above; we will adapt to whatever timeline you have in mind.
After the wedding we will select and edit the images. This is time consuming work, so it will take time. To make your wait easier, we will deliver a "sneak peek" - 30-40 best photos - the next day after the wedding.
When we finish editing, we will send you a link to your online gallery. It can be made public or private according to your preferences.
At this stage you might ask for some minor amendments (removing something from a photo, for example). We will do those for free if they can be done with reasonable effort.
Next we will ask you to fill out our after-wedding online questionnaire – a few questions about your wedding album preferences.
If you are happy with your wedding photos, you will need to make the final payment at this stage.
After that we will design your wedding album and send you a draft for approval.
Again, you might ask for amendments at this stage. A typical example would be replacing an image in the album with another one.
When you are happy with the album layout, we will submit the album to a print lab.
We always recommend a veil shot, where the veil is fluttering on the wind. The best and most reliable wind we have found so far is Natalie - who will need to be removed post production in Photoshop but that is not an issue with her editing skills.
Since we have a drone, we are able to do aerial shots. On a few occasions the couple has asked the guests to pose in a certain way, such as a heart. It can be a bit chaotic but the end result is a nice more original photo.
Realistically, rain is never continuous and there will be windows where it stops. The best advice we can give is to be flexible and quick with those windows to get photos during that timespan. But don’t worry - we are also prepared for these scenarios so if anything we have clear nice looking umbrellas.
Natalie's photographic journey began when her niece was born; she was so beautiful, Natalie just couldn’t stop taking her photos… She started to read books about photography, then moved on to taking people’s portraits, and when Vitalie joined her in the hobby, Natalie finally directed her enthusiasm to weddings.
