Wow, after over 100 weddings, where do I start? I think the best weddings are the ones where you can see a true bond with the whole family, the ones where you can feel the love in the room. They are the ones that get me every time.
Modern, fine art, natural, creative, a good mix
Excellent customer service, I try and go the extra mile for my clients and leave them not only with amazing photos but a great experience.
Plan before seeking out suppliers and quotes, budget on a spreadsheet and then add 15% contingency.
A bride had sadly lost her dad and she had sewn a heart made from his old overalls into the course and inside of her dress to keep him close to her and walk her down the aisle.
In brief: 1) After booking, I always let the couple know what is next. I think this is super important. 2) Their engagement photoshoot takes place anything from 6 months to 4 weeks prior to the wedding. 3) Shoot the wedding 4) Post wedding viewing premiere 5)Album design appointment if required
One during the evening, this is where the magic happens for me, its usually something that the client can't re create by themselves and so makes it special.
I think it has to be one on the beach at Bamburgh Castle, simply stunning backdrop for a wedding photo.
Don't panic! Bring weddingtons and I will bring a white umbrella, we can head out and create some amazing photos then then go indoors and find some more cute photo spots.
I bought my first camera when I was 12 with the help from my parents and was really encouraged by my mum where we would go out on the weekends so I could practice, it was film then and so waiting to see what the results were was really exciting. I landed my first job at a photo studio aged just 15 where I learnt lots about photography and also customer service, by 18 I was also studying for my HND photography and also working in a commercial studio in Sheffield where I stayed for 9 years until I set up Picture Perfect Photography. I have been happily capturing moments for couples for over 6 years now within my own business, I find it very rewarding and I have met some wonderful people.
