What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh without doubt a wedding I captured last year. I've never in my life seen so much confetti, it was a storm, Lucy and Paul almost disappeared in it!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural - Fun - Creative - Professional - Experienced
What about your business are you most proud of?
It sounds cheesy but seriously, it makes me feel good to be able to put couples at ease whilst creating moments in time they will remember forever.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
When it comes to your ceremony just focus on each other, nothing else is important. This moment is so special, it's all about you. If I was to sneak in another one I'd say make sure your suppliers are insured!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
At the point of your first contact with me I check to see if your wedding date is available in my diary. If I'm already booked I will happily recommend another photographer I know and trust to deliver a professional service as I would. If your date is available in my diary I like to suggest a meet-up so can decide if I'm the right photographer for you. If you decide to book I ask for a £300 deposit to secure your date, just to make sure nobody else gets it.
I then send you a paper contract which protects us both together with the detailed wedding photography coverage including cost. We then agree a couple of possible dates for your pre-wedding photography, this is just in case the weather turns bad on us, we then get a choice!
On the day I'll be there from bridal preparations to when the dance floor gets lively! Shortly afterwards you will receive a sneak peak of images through a personal online gallery then the full collection will follow, usually within 4-5 weeks.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Oh, I love a confetti tunnel or even a sparkler tunnel. Fab fun and creates amazing images.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
That has to be a butterfly release in memory of the brides Mum
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I just have to say see through brollies and brightly coloured wellies, what's not to love eh!
