Photography by Hannah Dobson Full Description
I specialise in affordable wedding photography. I believe in seeing the love in a wedding, rather than the money. Due to the price of wedding photographers, it's not always possible for a couple to afford a photographer and I stay true to myself and set my prices at what I believe is a fair hourly rate. There may be a slight extra mileage cost depending on the location of your wedding. My prices are noted below: All my rates below include all photos in an online private library for download at your leisure which is password protected and can be shared with guests as well. 2hrs - £125 3hrs - £175 4hrs - £210 5hrs - £235 And £25 an hour thereafter. These prices include retouching and enhancing as standard.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

As cliché as it sounds, I love every wedding I do. I listen to every word during each wedding and keep an eye on all those small details. It's lovely to just see each and every couple in love and in love in a different way every time.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Personable. Warm. Collaborative. Trustworthy. Memorable.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm proud that I can provide wedding photography to couples who wouldn't be able to afford it if it wasn't for my affordable and flexible prices.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy the planning and don't overthink the day. The day will be one of the best days of your life and it's all about you and the love you have for one another. Enjoy the build up and most importantly, live for the day!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Again, it's cliché but every wedding is different. There's a personal touch at every wedding and it suits the personality of the couple that day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I'm completely led by what a couple feels comfortable with. I'm happy to discuss everything over email or I can meet you and go through everything face-to-face. I don't believe in imposing my style or my process as it's about your day and what you feel comfortable with doing.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The No.1 photo for me is the one that says "THIS IS US". I've had couples who want to fist bump with rings, another who have run home and got their dog, another who had a photo of their engagement gifted to them... Every wedding is different, every couple is different. I capture that.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I really liked the engagement photo one.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

There's always somewhere to take a photo and a way to capture your day that you'll remember. The rain will be part of your day but don't let it ruin your day.

Describe how you got into photography.

I worked in Financial Services, in complaints of all things, for quite a number of years but was always passionate for photography and doing it in my spare time. I was then fortunate to have a baby girl and it turned my world upside down. I realised what was important and I wanted to do something that could make a difference for other people whilst doing something I love. So, I chose to become a photographer full time and ensure that I do what I believe in by charging what I feel is fair and reasonable and always being very open, honest and transparent with my couples.
