CONGRATULATIONS!
Months, maybe years of planning, all to ensure festivities run without a hitch (no pun intended).
The date finally arrives and the nerves kick in. You skip breakfast because you think it’s a good idea (it’s not), after all you have to fit into what is likely to be the most expensive outfit you will ever own (you will). You get ready, get to the venue, do the legal bit, then you can relax! The corks pop and you get to relax and enjoy your day with friends and family (and maybe that annoying uncle you HAD to invite).
The last thing you want, is to spend the first couple of hours of married life with a photographer barking orders at you. Having your photo taken with every combination of family possible. While you are stood there, or even worse all jumping in the air simultaneously, what you are missing is your wedding day! Of course there will be some shots you want taken with family and obviously I’m more than happy to oblige. As a wedding photographer I’m there to photograph your wedding as it unfolds naturally. No props, no cheese, no acrobatics, just documenting the results of all that planning. Capturing the little details and interactions that go to make your big day.
It’s also important to take a little time out, get away from the crowd, have a wonder around the grounds. With some gentle guidance from myself, hopefully we can capture some special shots.
