We knew from our initial chat with Phil that he was exactly what we were after, he was friendly and chilled, whilst clearly really caring about his work. I’d highly recommend doing an engagement shoot with Phil, we were nervous about how we’d feel in front of the camera and the shoot massively helped our confidence both with him and with the photos themselves. Plus the photos were lovely for our wedding website! On the big day Phil made us feel totally at ease. He had the perfect balance of giving direction and blending in with guests. Phil broke up our shoots into small and manageable chunks which meant we didn’t miss out on the reception and seeing our guests. We paid to receive our previews the morning after the wedding and were blown away, the photos are absolutely stunning and perfectly captured the beauty of our countryside venue and the sheer joy we were feeling all day. Phil was relaxed and incredibly lovely throughout the day and we felt confident all day that everything we asked of him was being taken care of. He even knew a quiet area local to the wedding venue that he took us for some absolutely beautiful sunset photos, which are some of our most treasured photos of the day. All the photos we got back were fantastic, capturing all the important formal parts of the day, but more importantly so many of the things we did not notice during all of the business.

We couldn't have wished for a better photographer for our wedding - Phil was amazing. Calm (and calming!), thoughtful and, of course, the photos were incredible. Images of our friends and family that we will treasure forever.

Phil is an amazing wedding photographer! The booking process is easy; Phil is really responsive and keen to answer any questions. The idea of an engagement shoot is brilliant- it really gives you the opportunity to get comfortable with Phil and the camera before your big day. We were originally drawn to his work because of his ability to capture the hidden and candid moments- he blends in so well and isn’t in anyone’s face. Phil was our photographer for our engagement shoot, and for the multiple wedding celebrations, both small and large, as we battled getting married during COVID. Phil was always so understanding and helpful we couldn't have chosen anyone better. The proof is in the pudding and the photos that we have had back from him are simply stunning. We’ve had endless positive comments and feedback from family and friends on how beautiful the shots are.

We had Phillip as our photographer for both a small wedding in 2020 and a bigger event in 2022. On both occasions we were so so grateful for the magical moments that Phillip captured, that we can now treasure forever. From the first meeting Phil was relaxed and accommodating. On the day it was no different - Phil was fantastic. He blended into the background at the Wedding and took some fantastic photos that we are thrilled with. Not being the most confident around the camera, Phil made us laugh and smile and we have some great couple photos because of him. Professional, Approachable and Friendly. We cannot recommend Phil enough! You won't be disappointed!

Straight after our first call with Phil we absolutely new he was the guy for us. As a couple we aren’t huge fans of being in front of the camera but knew that we still wanted really gorgeous, natural photos of our day - that’s exactly what we got from Phil and even better than any expectations we had if we’re honest! I’ll let his his photos speak for themselves but if you’re after a photographer who is genuinely a brilliant guy, will blend in and put you at ease then you should absolutely choose

Phil managed to capture our wedding day beautifully, and for that we are so thankful to have those memories to keep. Phil is friendly, professional and very talented. He captured some amazing sunset photos of us, which have taken pride of place in our home. We would highly recommend Phil.
