This almost feels like a trick question... I love all the weddings I shoot, as they're memorable in different ways!
Bright, crisp, artistic, photojournalistic, modern
I am most proud of the service I provide. I always over deliver going above and beyond for my clients!
Do the speeches before you eat, over the years that is the advice I stand by! I see so many nervous grooms and best men who hardly eat that amazing food!
I always love it when couples book a toast master. I just love how a good toast master can make the day run so effortlessly!
When a couple first get in touch, we usually chat via e-mail to start with. I then love to offer a home visit if they're not too far away. Or a Skype call if we don't live near one another. I really like to get to know my couples and understand what they love about photography and what matters to them most.
On home visits I will always take some of my gorgeous Italian leather albums to showcase what a full day looks like, as I feel that is very important. It's easy to show off your very best images online, nothing beats seeing a full wedding.
Once my couples book, it's a really simple process for them as I don't like to complicate things. I send a digital contract and booking form and it's all signed electronically. A few months before the big day, I like to check in and see if I can help with any of the plans and get a copy of their timeline and formal photo list. Being prepared for my weddings is key! If I haven't worked the venue before I will always scout it a few weeks before, or we do your engagement session there :)
The big day arrives and I'm always early, I don'e like surprises and I'm sure you don't either! Being on time for me is of the up most importance.
After the wedding you always get your images within 4 weeks as I don't like to keep you waiting. I only take on a certain number of weddings each year, to keep your experience a luxury one.
Too many to narrow it down to just one! However I do always suggest some gorgeous ones of the two of you at sunset (if it happens) the light is just magical at that time of day!
One my my recent brides had a Disney Themed wedding and had a really amazing request! On the bottom of her shoe was written 'Andy' from Toy Story and she really wanted her grooms reaction to it as they are both crazy about the film! It was an incredible moment and I loved how much thought had gone into it!
Bring a large white umbrella as we're getting the wow shot outside! In all seriousness I come prepared for the rain, this is England after all! I always have a plan B, somewhere inside the venue that we can take the family formals and some nice posed images of the two of you.
But seriously if it rains in the day or at night, I have all the gear to go out there and make some truly unforgettable shots.
My wife owns a Bridal Boutique and that's where the love for weddings comes from. I'd been a photographer for many years but had never been brave enough to photograph weddings. Now I couldn't imagine doing anything else!
