We had seen Phil’s work due to him covering other family members weddings and seeing their amazing photographs. I just knew we had to contact him as his photos were stunning and were completely the style I had in mind for my own wedding photos. I love how Phil has a vision of how certain photos will look and how he knows exactly how/where you should position yourself to get the best photographs! He came with us to the venue prior to the wedding so he’d already scoped out where we could get the best pictures and certainly didn’t disappoint on the day! I love looking back at our amazing day captured perfectly by Phil and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Choosing the right photographer to capture our day was one of the most important decision for us when planning our day. We had met with a few photographers but the moment we met Phil and saw his work we instantly knew that he was the right person.  Not only is he kind and genuine, he is an expert at what he does and his passion for photography is reflected in his work. We cannot stop looking at the photos and are so so pleased with them! Phil made us, our family and guests feel so relaxed and he was a joy to work with from day one and we cannot thank him enough for his hard work.

We are usually so shy and hate having photos taken, all we wanted to achieve was one decent photo to put up in the house. We were blown away with the photos, we look like we should be on a magazine front cover! We had hundreds to choose from. Phil is awesome at setting up an epic shot and for the natural ones he always knows where to be to capture the little moments that can never be recreated. He's great to have around on the day, a warm and professional man with humour that relaxes you. He got the photos back to us quickly and was really quick and patient while we were planning our album. 100% recommend!

What fabulous pictures we had taken by the very talented Phil Barrett! He captured the most precious parts of our day and made us all feel so comfortable when taking the pictures. Such amazing quality pictures and we are so pleased that we found Phil and would highly recommend him to any of our friends. A very happy couple!

Fantastic photography and a fantastic photographer. Captured our quirky friendships/ relationships brilliantly. Worked with us on a pre shoot and we are looking to use Phil again . Highly highly recommended.

Well what can I say... The first time myself & Nick met Phil and saw the work that he had been producing over the years and the amazing moments that he had captured we knew instantly that there was no other photographer that we would want to share our special day with! With getting married aboard (Jersey) we knew we needed someone to not only capture our special day but what Jersey means to us also, and what can I say Phil, you are just amazing, from the moment we met you to even now 9 months on from our wedding, we can not thank you enough for the amazing pictures and memories we have. You mixed in with our guests over the weekend, and made sure they felt at ease and not under any pressure to be caught on camera, everything was so natural and just how we wanted it. Thank you so much again! x

Phil was totally committed to producing the most amazing photos that captured our wonderful day so perfectly. He has such energy, enthusiasm and an eye for the perfect shot - a true craftsman! Phil is fantastic to work with and captured our day perfectly. We were looking for someone who would produce pictures that were natural, beautiful and different from the norm and Phil met and surpassed this brief. When we received the pictures and looked through them it brought all the fantastic memories of our big day flooding back, capturing shots we weren’t even aware were being took through the day. Well what can I say... The first time myself, olly and my family met Phil and saw the work that he had been producing over the years and the amazing moments that he had captured we knew instantly that there was no other photographer that we would want to share our special day with! To then later on down the line find out that along with working his bum off and producing these beautiful photos which were getting us more and more excited by the day he had been diagnosed with None Hodgkin Lymphoma, at the same time I had been fighting Hodgkin Lymphoma, and I can tell you now for someone to still be getting up day in day out and producing such special work whilst fighting the big C says so so much about an individual! We received our photos the other week and once again he did it! We couldn't ask for anything more perfect! They are beautiful and they capture every moment of our special day, from the nervous tears, to the getting ready, to the happy tears, to the moment we saw eachother on the isle and to the moment my little god daughter decided to take a poo during the vows haha. Thank you so much again Phil, And if anyone is looking for a photographer that will never let you down, make you feel comfortable, someone who will make sure he gets to know not you but also you're family, And lastly capture them moments that you can cherish for a life time.. then look no further
