My most memorable wedding was in August 2020 in Venice. The whole wedding party consisted of just couple and their 2 little daughters. It was super relaxed and chilled day. No stress, they just wanted to be themselves and have photos that capture who they are and how their day was. First time that I was witness too, as they were no guests! After ceremony we had relaxed picnic on a private island, where we stayed until late afternoon. Due to pandemic - there were no other guests so we had all island to ourselves! It was truly memorable day with lovely couple and their adorable daughters...
Authentic - Relaxed - Creative - Unposed - Unobtrusive

After enquiry we usually book a phone or video call, where we can discuss your wedding plans in more detail etc. I can also explain in more in depth how I work and what to expect from me on wedding day, answer all your questions etc. Next step is to sign online contract and trasfer deposit - to fully confirm your booking. After that I get in touch few weeks before wedding to finalise all details, timings. After wedding day, I deliever all photos within 3 weeks time - fully retouched - as online gallery & USB.
This may sound boring but I think a photo with parents. Even though I try to get natural photos of parents as well, to have one standard photo with them is important.
I can't think of any, I am rarely asked to take photos at wedding as my couples prefer natural storytelling photos from their big day. I do get asked to take family photos but that is normal and I am happy to take them.
Just have fun and don't worry about weather! After so much planning and preparation I think the most important thing is to enjoy your big day:) Every weather is unique and bring something different - even rainy day! Think dramatic stormy clouds, light reflecting of wet surfaces (especially cool for photos after dark with some lights reflecting from venue etc.), rain can be also atmospheric. For me the most important is to embrace the weather and work with it, not against it. For my personal projects I often go outside when it's raining, there is beauty to be found in every weather!
I bought my first camera 15 years ago because I went for a holiday, took few snaps while away and put it back in the draw for few months. At that time, taking photos was about preserving memories, point and click, without any clue about light, composition etc. I did not fell in love with photography on my first holiday, it was travelling what became my passion and I started taking more and more trips abroad, with highlight being 9 months long travels in Asia. Thanks to travelling photography became my favourite hobby. I started taking it further by studying more about all aspect of photography, experimenting with portraits, studio lightning etc. I spent hours learning how to pose and use flash just to come to conclusion that I don’t like it and sold most of my studio gear. It was not until I started experimenting with street photography I found passion for observing and photographing people naturally, without getting noticed. That was the reason why I started photographing weddings. They are all about people, often hectic and always packed with emotion. I dont see myself as wedding photographer, I like capturing life. Weddings, street and travel photography or local events - my approach is always the same.
