Peter Denness - Wedding Photographer

We are a huge fan of Peter it is always a pleasure to work with him here at Hockwold Hall.

We made an enquiry with Pete for our wedding but unfortunately he was unavailable. However, he came back to us with a list of personal recommendations for other photographers and checked their availability for the day. It was an enormous help and much appreciated. It's not often you come across someone willing to go 'above and beyond' like this. Thanks so much Pete.

I am very late posting this...Pete was an integral part of our October 2019 wedding. Chris and I aren't the most comfortable people in front of a camera and so we wanted our wedding photos to really focus on the guests and the day as it unfolded rather than being lots of stylised shots of the two of us. Pete captured the joy of the day both from our friends and family who were there, but also from Chris and I - both in some more formal posed shots, but also candid, in the moment ones. The weather was terrible and so we were doing the group shots inside. it was like herding cats as friends and family were a few glasses of fizz down by this point and very over excited - but Pete took it all in his stride and got plenty of beautiful ones which we adore. Every time we look at our photos is takes us back to what was the best, most fun day of our lives and captures all the laughs that everybody shared. Thank you, thank you Pete! Hannah and Chris x

We bookend Pete after winning a competition he was running, and I am so glad we did! He is such a friendly guy, we both felt so comfortable with him and he made us feel at ease whilst taking the photos. He is so patient and understanding and really goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding photos are as amazing! Our pictures are everything we could have dreamed of and more and we are completely obsessed with them! If you’re looking for a fun and relaxed wedding photographer Pete is definitely the right guy for you! 😊

Pete put us at ease from the first minute, had a laugh with us on the day and captured the day perfectly for us. The photos exceeded all our expectations and would highly recommend anyone getting married to have Pete as their photographer

We are so pleased with our wedding photos. Peter was so great on the day and interacted so well with everyone. He was there right from the morning until the night time where he hit the dance floor and got amazing shots there too. Some of these are my most favourite. He made us all feel comfortable so now we have amazing photos showing what an amazing day we had.

We were so pleased with our wedding photos! Pete makes you feel so comfortable and is amazing at just going with the flow! Having to deal with such an unorganised bride as myself (who forgot to supply any details of photos required) he really did do a first class job! We got all the pictures we wanted and much more. As we preferred the more natural shots, Pete managed to showcase our day perfectly, capturing not only the poignant moments but equally the less sober ones on the dance floor! All of which we simply loved! If you want a photographer who will put you at ease and encapsulate your day perfectly, Pete is your man! You won't be disappointed!

Peter was such a wonderful photographer! My favourite moment was looking back at my photographs and seeing we had photos right until the end of the night, so many of my friends had conplained their photographers had left after the first dance... but not Peter he was there until the end, dancing away in the action and captured some of my favourite memories from the day!

Pete's work really speaks for itself but one of the reasons we chose him is because he was just like us. We felt he really understood us and what we were looking for. He offered creative ideas and we knew we would get some amazing photos. He made everyone feel comfortable on the day and felt like a part of the wedding, even having a cheeky dance :-) I know we picked the right person and if I had my wedding again we'd still pick Pete.

From the moment we met Pete I knew he was the photographer for us, he made us feel so comfortable and that was extremely important for not just for us but everyone at our wedding. He is so friendly it like having one of your friend photograph your wedding, we had a few guests ask if we knew him before as he just got in there did his job and blended right in aswell as taking the most amazing photos! The day we received our photos back was like reliving our wedding day again, Peter captures some of day that as bride & groom you don’t always see as your busy with other guests. We sat and looked at our photos for days afterwards and was so excited to share them with all our family and friends. The photos were out of this world and I even thought I looked lovely in every one (for someone who hates their photo being taken) I will be forever grateful we had such an amazing photographer like peter to capture our wedding day, so that we will have these photos to relive that day over & over again.
