FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I once met a couple on the train to London, we got chatting and told them about my business. A few months later, I received a phone call asking to photograph their wedding in Harrogate.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, Natural, Classy, Subtle,

What about your business are you most proud of?

That we are 10 years old! Pears Photography has grown massively since moving to Bawtry. Super proud of how my brand has grown and changed over the last 3 years.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always meet your suppliers! Check you get on well before committing.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Having their own Scent Styling.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I love to meet my couples for a coffee or even a gin (if it's past 5pm!) So we can get to know each other a bit. It's great to just have a relaxed chat about their likes & dislikes and what you want to take away from their big day. We then often plan a pre-wedding session and go over final details.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A close cuddly photo, whilst telling each other what they ate for breakfast!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A lovely bride asked me to capture her breastfeeding her little girl. As a mum myself, I hope I can have the same photograph at my wedding!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Wellies & Umbrellas and very helpful bridesmaids.

Describe how you got into photography.

I rolled out of college and straight into my business. Word of mouth spread and I still have some great clients from 10 years ago.
