It's personal....I like to make all my customers feel comfortable and from there I can build trust..truth and get to know them... My aim is to let there inner personalities come shining through in a way that's relaxed and fun.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Oh that's a tough one as I can think of a list to big to mention on here....Plan ahead so on your big day you have nothing to worry about...just enjoy!!! Call me for more....
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A Shaman giving the whole wedding party a blessing and joining in on a Native American Indian ritual ...dancing..chanting..drums..the lot!!!...Its' a great story....which if you like I'll tell you all about!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First friendly chat on phone, then meet at a place of there choice or if there not sure where I can suggest a few ideas. Then usually go on a engagement shoot or with the bride to the venue, meet the groom and anyone she would like me to. Then we start planning the photos...get a idea of which ones are essential and get some ideas of theme, style, lighting, settings ect....I keep in regular contact and like to build a understanding of all there wishes along the way...getting to know there personalities. You can have as little or as much contact with me as you like!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There is no exact answer to this as everyone is different... but one that captures there love for one another and why they are destined to be soulmates forever in a nutshell
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
hmmmm cheeky but the Maid of honor helping the Bride hold her dress up while she had to go for a tinkle!!! was hilarious.....one only us girls will understand probably!!!! And I did'nt put that one in the album for grandma too see!!!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Take your umbrella!!!! No seriously... it happens..theirs always indoors and usually some sheltered areas if you look about! But if it's really bad I even suggest the Bride & Groom make another fun day... get there glad rags back on and we go get those photos they so wanted and missed out on!!!
Describe how you got into photography.
I was 16.....started Art & Design with Photography back 1997...yeppp starting to feel old!!! I have loved being creative all my life...drawing..painting...photography...only in the last few years has a hobby become a profession..after many years of family and friends insisting I was wasting my gifts...just starting to realize they might of been right! Took the plunge and the adventure begun!
