‘Perfection! Writing a review for this man is difficult, as I want to come across as genuine as possible, and not a repeat of someone else’s. If you are to only read the summary, stop after the first word. Paul really was perfect as our wedding photographer. My wife and I had a big fat Indian wedding, and for our reception at Wynyard Hall, we were in need of a photographer. I honestly had looked through about 30 photographers before triumphantly discovering Paul. For the man himself – he was professional throughout; responsive and clear in his communications; understanding and flexible where required; and great fun at the event itself, all the while making us two feel very relaxed despite the nerves and being camera shy! For his photography – honestly, I wish I could put it adequately into words but he truly caught our special moments in the most perfect way. It’s as if he looked into my head to what I had imagined, and took those exact photos. The pictures came out incredible. They are artistic, perfectly candid and just simply very cool to look at. He somehow managed to capture such emotion in each shot with perfect timing, we were amazed. Equally, he hasn’t left us with stupidly large amounts of photos, but instead captured just the right amount. We were over the moon with the results. The photos were delivered in a timely manner. His prices were more than reasonable (believe me, I compared so many). And the app which is used to share with friends and family was a big hit. For anyone looking for a photographer, Paulo is your guy, and this is why… We spent some time researching wedding photographers (and there are a lot of good ones out there!) What stood out for us is how all of Paulo’s albums ooze happiness, charm and style. Looking through his portfolios you can see not only how skilled Paulo is but how much time, effort and care is put into each one of his albums. We are based in Australia and from day one, Paulo was always available to chat and fit in with our schedule. His ‘pre-day’ advice went further than just photography, he talked us through wedding timings, gave us handy hints to ensure we got time to ourselves, helped us understand what was needed on the day so we could brief our bridal party and fitted in couple shoots like lightening so we were not away from the party for more than 5 mins! Paulo truly captured the joy of our day so perfectly. From arriving at my parent’s house at 10am to leaving after the first dance, he put everyone at ease. Always going above and beyond – he can navigate a large marquee in seconds and I am pretty sure stayed well beyond when he needed to. All of that coupled with the fact that he will be the best dressed man at your wedding and knows how to nail a confetti shot means he must be the best UK wedding photographer at the moment!’
